            I actually had a higher win ratio than loss ratio during my brief stint of Elesis hunting. Most Elesis players didn’t have a clue as to how to play.

            But I will say that the only time I was actually 2 combo killed as DW was when I faced a +9 weapon GM…..

            This is back when Aisha still had Mana Shield and my DW with +7 armor could actually tank combos from plenty of other players as well as almost everything in PVE. But Elesis with a +9 weapon, not even a +10….. HP went down real fast.

      Elbrat not the worst character for sure – and they kinda nerf\buff him. But know what makes me cringe? They killed plasma cutter! Yeah – the worst nerf got VP/OS ofcourse. They nerfed damage TWICE! Do any character in game even has 65% multi hit bravery? What a joke. Not only this – they deleted her mod plasma’s I-frames – so you can throw mod plasma in trash can now. And btw – it was main VP’s damagefull skill, so now she will be trash not only in pvp but in pve too. Ty KoGs. Gg wp.

        Plasma Cutter is still extremely good at what it does (pretty decent range damage and absurd awakening gain), and if you think VP will be trash in PvE because of that getting a nerf, you REALLY need to try playing OS.

        OS is multi-skill-spam personified. Nerfing Plasma Cutter and Abyss Field won’t kill mine, it’ll just mean I might actually have to get a bravery-stacking glove to bump my damage back up a bit.

        DaB, however, is dead in the water…

          Of course I’m playing OS. But thats not the point. The point is that OS had only 2 really damagefull skills for pve plasma cutter and abysmal field. And since abysmal field have low range and could not be stacked with elrianode gear tears – there actually was only plasma. And now they nerfed it (both moded and not moded) TWICE. For OS it literaly means she become twice weaker.

            Just saying, my GA (or DaB as everyone seems to call her now… lordhelpme) got her Ace in the Hole dmg cut not just in half, but to 1/3. That went from 5.3k to 1.9k. Not to mention Gungnir, which used to be GA’s greatest PvE skill, got nerfed, AGAIN. The first time it got nerfed by like 1/5- sure that was kinda needed, but to be nerfed again?

            Yes OS has it bad but I’d say she’s getting it just as rough as DaB is getting it. And Phoenix’s dmg got cut in half too. Siege is pretty much GA’s strongest skill (if it wasn’t already)

      Honestly? I don’t think the person who nerfed Mod Plasma Cutter has ever seen how long it has to be channeled to do the damage it does. They just looked at the deceptively-seemingly-OP numbers on paper, and decided to slice it by more than 60%.

    I’m using a +12 and actually they are other classes who litteraly do more damage with +10 weapon

      More damage how? In what aspect? Clearing? Bossing? What dungeon? 11-1 is not the same as 11-3 is not the same as 11-4 is not the same as 11-5 is not the same as 11-6 due to dungeon layout. Some classes are naturally better suited to clearing and if they’re able to kill things before you get to them, you’re going to get outdamaged if they can already oneshot the mobs in the dungeon with a +6 during the clearing phase.

      Majority of the playerbase still don’t understand what the end dungeon window represents even though Elsword has been out for 10 years. Damage done is also only an indication of how much damage you did and not how well you played. For all I know, you might have more of a supportive playstyle in that you prefer to hang back and pick off stragglers after the initial barrage of clearing skills have been used. Maybe you prefer to use your skills in way that help with killing off very specific mobs in specific places for the clearing to go more smoothly. Generally speaking, classes that are able to clear very well will usually have very high damage done, like YR and BH. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a bad player.

      Finally, the stats you have on your armour have way more of an impact than the enhancement level of your weapon. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were being outdamaged by a +10 with properly built +10 Elrianode gear if you were using a +12 with subpar armour.

      I am also a GA main and there’s nothing that can be done but to adapt. Buffs and nerfs come and go, get over it. Give it a month and everyone will have gotten used to it, and it’ll mostly be forgotten until the next patch and people will start to whinge and whine again. Complaining over nerfs won’t get you anywhere.

    Why is everyone getting invisibility frames until the end of the skill whilst Gungnir has to stick with SA when you can’t even cancel it and get mp back or anything (like how people used to abuse Ace in the Hole). Not to mention there’s been a multitude of times where Gungnir has been used and you can get hit out of it if something hits you at the right time or uses stun/freeze. WHY KOG WHY-

    Also, Ace in the Hole’s damage got cut from 5.3k to 1.9k… THAT’S ALMOST THIRD FFS- W H Y

    And to top it all off, THEY BUFFED CHUNG’S ACELDAMA?! That thing on big bosses (like you know, what most endgame bosses are?) already does as much as some HA’s not to mention that the stats shown weren’t even final enhancements OR taking skill traits into consideration.
    So Chung’s base class gets a skill that literally puts GA’s best PvE skill to shame. H o w n i c e . . .

    Well in all honesty, this sure is disappointing to say the least. I’m glad that they nerfed Eclipse and NoH a bit in PvP. However, at this point, if KOG really wants to make the players happy, we need to all come to an agreement on what should really be nerfed and buffed. I believe there’s no reason to nerf skills in PvE since it makes the experience and grinding much easier for all of us. Nerfing them only makes it harder for PvE players and it could cause a chain reaction to many other areas in the game. If PvE is harder than before, prices on the board could go up, queues for dungeons could be longer etc., and I don’t think we need to elaborate much on PvP either. There’s an issue that almost every player has with Arena or Sparring. With the recent PvP revamp, it only gave at least a sliver of hope to many PvP players, who wish to see any needed changes.

    In the end, this is balance patch was obviously more of a “nerf patch” for most of the characters, which will inevitably make most of the hype die out from the 3rd Jobs. They should’ve at least waited a bit longer before immediately releasing nerfs. To go even further with this, I wonder why they would create so much turmoil by making the 3rd Jobs so OP, only to then just nerf everyone heavily. It’s almost as if they’re not aware of the consequences of making such actions since this is a reoccurring factor we see as players (or former players). Time and time again, it seems like they always make the wrong balance updates, due to all the commotion it creates for the player base. You can’t really make everyone happy, but having a majority of the player base more satisfied is doable.

    So the main point is: if KOG really intends to fix the game at this point, I believe they shouldn’t, at least, determine such balances on their own. I’m not sure if any of the KR devs actually play the game or test out these changes for themselves. But, versus another person who has probably been playing a certain character for years, they can certainly determine the outcome of said balance updates. So, if anyone should decide what we should “balance,” it has to be the ones who have been actually playing the game (maybe do pollings by servers?).

    The most important thing that we have to also be aware, is how we react to these updates. Saying “KOG is (x)” or “I quit,” is not going to solve anything and will only discourage more players. We all have the right to be upset and give negative feedback, but if we want changes then we should at least tone down on the “KOG shaming” and try to give positive feedback whenever we can. Repeatedly telling someone what they’re doing wrong will eventually help them to improve; if we apply this in our case, it could potentially damage the relationship between KOG and the players, which will create many obstacles in the future. So, let’s just be mindful of how we react to such decisions made by KOG.

    although DW route seems to have gotten the least of it… a buff to nova, a nerf to impact zone (expected cause it did so much wall rape damage and had two skills to massively spike said damage), and a nerf to energy spurt (i only used it on air mobs cause i don’t bravery stack my DW, I build her for skill spam)

    I think, I must mention one interesting thing. Its how KoGs made Karma’s damage physical. Yeah – it will damage a bit more now, but it really has no logic. I mean karma is eldrasil’s power “the power to command MAGIC winds”… And know what? I guess they just forgot TR had Eldrasil’s Fury – basicly same power source skill. Why did they not change Elrdasil’s fury to physical too then?

    I done some meme test with my OS. Without any gear or erp invest in skill’s damage, my plasma cutter (300mp skill) doing 120k damage to single mob. My Petite Angkor (30mp active debuff skill) doing 60k damage if all 3 bats hits target. So after upcoming patch as plasma’s damage will be twice lower – plasma will deal same 60k damage as petite angkor XDD Ofcourse plasma still will do better on group of mobs, but for bossing – just think about it 300mp skill doing same damage as 30mp debuff.

        damage drop does not affect the power creep… it just makes a +11 feel like a +10, +10 feel like +9, and so on…
