      China has 2 Golden Weeks as well separate from Japan’s Golden Week.

      Have no idea why Korean games are embracing Golden Week though.

      Potion Chugging Meta 2018. Instead of giving characters the ability to manage their resources better (and regulating/nerfing/normalizing it for pvp as well), kog is just gonna make it easier to chug pots.

      I guess I can’t complain tbh.

    ^^^ that is the most important and noteworthy part of the patch, it should have been the header, everything else is a waste of space

    Still waiting on Magic Wardrobe fix/update/patch or what-the-fuck-ever they’re going to do with it. 90% of the costumes were moved from the Item Mall so that no one can buy them and actually fucking use them in MW.

    And I’m talking about NA just so you know.

    since the other servers each got different treatment, so…whatever.

    otherwise….decent filler patch.

    don’t get me wrong, it’s a welcome change, but it just feels like more bullshit apology methods…

    • It IS more BS apologies. After screwing down Rapid Guardian and Crack Crasher(Which didn’t really need a nerf), it makes sense for you to get the watered down BS.

        Rapid Guardian is literally a skill that lets you spam other skill effortlessly and nobody uses Crack Crusher for damage, it’s a catching skill. Why the fuck are you complaining?

          Rapid Guardian does not let you “spam other skill effortlessly”, it costs 255mp. First off you need to reach 255mp to use a skill that does nothing but regain the mp you just wasted to activate said skill in the first place. The real purpose of Rapid Guardian is to decrease the cooldown on all other skills. As for crack Crusher..it’s explosion damage is magical making it worthless from the start. The only thing Crusher had going for it was its time stop duration which is now long gone. You want a real 100mp? start using Brutal Swing..it’s been there from the start and has always been stronger than Crusher.

            I dunno about you but Rapid Guardian usually goes. Use Rapid Guardian ZZZX/XXZX, instantly get 300 MP back, start spamming stuff like Lunatic Blow, Guardian’s Rage, Lunatic Fury. Rapid Guardian also increases the MP gain from those skills, mainly Lunatic Blow which can refund 50-100 MP.

            The 255 MP cost for entry is nothing when you consider a single XXZX refunds it and you’ll probably be able to get the easy equivalent of 500+ MP worth of skills within its 5 second duration.

        • Spare me the nonsense. As you and I know Rapid Guardian cost 255 MP, and IP’s MP gain isn’t as great as it used to be, so don’t come at me with that nonsense. And it’s just like what Ghost said: it’s literally used for cooldown acceleration. Did I *COMPLAIN* about crack crasher not having damage? I think not sir. I meant that the time delay being nerfed was unnecessary, now it just sucks and is a weaker version of Bullet Blitz and Scare Chase. Get your information correct and stop assuming things. Do the research before you come at me with that. Btw, just going to tell you now: Centurion has the same effect: except it’s a passive. Now on to your second comment since it won’t let me reply to it.

          Okay 1. Rapid Guardian doesn’t even give that much MP gain anymore in PVP, what are you even talking about? Lunatic Blow? Yeah I would’ve agreed: If you *couldn’t MB it*. It would be good if you *didn’t have the MP to MB it before he even gets it back*. Also, he’ll rarely even build up for that MP, he’ll most likely use it to skill combo you, but most of his actives cost annoyingly high MP costs despite their simple use of either countering with Artillery Nova or a combo extension of Sudden Burster, so that completely debunks your argument. And if you respond back saying “he can gain the MP by spamming ZZVZ loop”, don’t try it. Most third job classes now can burst the guy down so he has to MB *immediately* now because he can’t *tank* anymore. So he’ll *never* get rapid guardian, nor the chance to even use it unless you’re just a really bad pvp player. Lunatic Fury tickles, don’t even try to say to use it. PVE it does hurt I’ll concede to that: but using it in PVP? Just…lol. Ooo Rage of Guardian, too bad it *tickles* without pandemonium, which mind you *ALSO cost 200 MP*. Do you play CC? I wish to know that, because judging by it you sound like you lost to CC a good amount of times and going by that.

          Err…no, sorry pal. That won’t work. No matter what you say, it won’t work unless his opponent is stupid enough to just bumrush him or not MB once they say Rapid Guardian. His catching game is flawed due to his veteran technique passive making his x counters useless.

          CC relies on countering to punish the opponent, he can’t do that if he’s easily being knocked around like a toy.

          If you want a debate, then let’s go. I’m ready anytime.

            CC can tank, his base hp/defense is good in general, and his passives, just gonna get that out of the way.

            And rapid guardian, lasts 7.5seconds. In pve, a zzzx gives around 200mp, and you can use about 3 of those in that time, aka 600mp, which is full mp(I have 560mp), where I can spam all of my skills easy.

            In pvp, I really only use it for catch, after the shout I go sanic speed on attack so no one can really do anything, and the mp gain still allows me to get the mp I had before and a little bit more.

            Also, “CC relies on countering to punish the opponent, he can’t do that if he’s easily being knocked around like a toy.” Yeah, I don’t know what you mean, cause CC has his VERY good catching options(such as crack crusher, which is actually really good still), in his combos and skills.
            “His catching game is flawed due to his veteran technique passive making his x counters useless.” yeah what heavy stance, when u counter with it you have 2 different outcomes. 1. you get that 50% chance and continue comboing, 2. You kd them, and then catch them after, provided you know how to catch on CC, without using heavy stance, cause he has a lot of options.

            And you are saying CC has bad mp gain, he has like 10mp per hit consistently, and then using zzzx he gains around 100mp

            just gonna say, every single CC skill is good, either for catching or dmg.

          Yes CC *USED* to tank, but he can’t tank now. He has good HP and defense, but that isn’t *worth anything if every third job can just burst you down and you *NEED* wonder wall to defend yourself*. But as you can tell: CC can’t have wonder wall now. It lasts too short of a duration to use against the BS damage that’s being thrown at him. Yeah: his passives are overnerfed and you don’t notice what they even do: that’s just bad design right there pal.

          That’s PVE: I know in PVE it’s great but let’s move to PVP:

          Err..yes they can: Just MB before he even get the chance to go nuts on you. Just like I said previously: The person has to be really dumb fighting against CC or the CC has to be really skilled at catching if he wants to gain the MP to even use it.

          Yeah: good catching options that have annoying cooldowns to deal with if it is anticipated. Which mind you: is pretty easy to predict unless you’re blindly and aggressively rushing headfirst against CC or that CC is playing too overly aggressive. Once again: Crack Crasher might have a good catching game, but the delay is too weak for the missile to even hit. The only time it really works is when the opponent is literally close to his face because if not they just awaken and the missile misses it’s hit.

          His Heavystance counter *shouldn’t* be even doing that, it’s supposed to be what makes CC unique from the other Chungs. And most of the time you won’t catch off of the blowaway effect because you’re expecting them to not launch and if they don’t and you anticipate that they will launch away you get punished. Same for vise versa: you get punished. It’s better to just skill out of it or awaken because you really don’t want to deal with the nonsense.

          I never said it was bad: if you reread what I said in the former: I said that it isn’t as good as it used to be. Due to that, you have to choose to either burst or combo, since half of his actives cost a hefty amount of MP than they did before(Sudden Burster cough).

          Err no, Burst Wolf isn’t good for catching, it isn’t good for damage. Land Demolisher isn’t good for damage now, it just feeds MP (BOTH versions mind you). And if you get the buff so what? It feeds more MP and most of the time they’ll just MB it after the explosion which is *WHY* it’s bad that the explosion got nerfed to not do burst damage(not nerfed, destroyed to no end). Rage of Guardian tickles unless you cast Pandemonium before Rage of Guardian, but even then they both cost 200 MP so you have to choose to do which.

          CC doesn’t have the damage he used to have, he can’t tank crap unless he has Sacrifice because WW was literally the only thing saving his behind because most of IP’s passives (Most like Adv.metabolism) have too much of low percentages to even work. I’ve played IP since the renewals and trans, and let me tell you it wasn’t fun playing trans IP or renewal nerfed IP. Not every skill he has is good for catching, some are too situational or just not good to even be used.

          At least you’re reasonable than some of the other debates I had in 4/19 patch notes.

    Probably from people jumping the sinking ship that is Closers.

    A lot of us non-Koreans can’t even log on right now without using VPNs due to some bug with the patcher….. and apparently it is a Closers specific problem as KR Elsword players aren’t having the same problem.

    Between Enmasse sabotaging NA Closers, and KR Closers in freefall because of anti-feminism shitstorms, looks like Elsword won the war after all…..
