  1. During Red Eye(Boss) Amount of damage required to undo spike prison decreased
  2. Red Eye(Boss) changed so it doesn’t perform additional attacks for 8 seconds after the spike prison
  3. Red Eye’s(Boss) spin speed decreased during its spin attack pattern. Damage also changed to ignore defence.
  4. Red Eye’s(Boss) Spike Pillar damage ignores character’s defence

  1. The Lonely One’s(Boss) spike pillar attack ignores character’s defence.
  2. During Dark-Red Flame(Boss), the amount of damage required to undo spike prison reduced.
  3. During Dark-Red Flame(Boss) spike pillar attack ignores character’s defence.

    That and- why’d they slow down that rotation attack qq seemed like fun trying to run round it and keep up :<
    Probably for slower chars i get it but cmon v.v it didn't go THAT fast

      It DID go that fast, normally you wouldn’t be able to do that unless you are an Eve or a Minerva who can simply ignore platforming lol. And characters with double jump as well have better chance.

      the whole ideia is to dodge, man I miss old ereda jumping quest \o/ now ppl need to learn how to jump again haha

        Yes. Is a good change. But some classes are very low KD and have i-frames. I think… Need’s to change the i-frames to make’s a PvE more challenging. Of course! Give 50% damage reduction to change that.

        The 11-5 leech does not like changes that require effort. Moreso than that, there are crucial flaws in the metagame for raid atm despite certain changes KOG has made, like for all skill damage vs. stacking. But no, let’s complain about p2w despite this blatantly being endgame content. OMEGALUL.

        I’ve seen these same complaints for dfo’s luke raid, pretty normal to encounter but pointless in the end.

            Maybe try during more active hours or join an Elsword discord? It’s not really hard for me to find people. Free run makes it all the more easy to find people.

            It’s also an inside joke as to why I said 11-5 leech. I’ve carried people who have randomly joined in without an issue. The issue begins when someone complains over things in a monotonous manner and yet still does not carry their own weight despite having the capacity to. You could argue over people without gear, this person is not one of them.

      Imean I don’t think the iframe ignore is what’s killing the game LOL imo that’s brought like .5 life back into the game-

      The fact that people don’t dodge things anymore and just spam skills to dodge everything is what has been slowly making PvE boring imo- imean look at Hennon xD… no-one needs to dodge anything because they’re too busy spamming skills. Atleast with iframe ignoring attacks from bosses- people have to put some effort into dodging (until youknow, they become tanky enough again to just stand next to the boss and take hits like some people have been doing .___.” *cough atomic shield + blume + wonder wall cough)*

    Why do they ask for a minimum of exaggerated combat power and make the raid boss ignore defense? It doesn’t make sense.
    How is it possible Elsword has risen ranking when Paytoplay the PvE content?

      Because the amount of raids winning without Comet Crusader, CU and CeT are so marginal that the people who do make it out look like they’re trying too hard for no reason. These raids are possible to win with effort. If you don’t want to do that much, don’t participate in endgame content. It’s endgame for a reason.

    they could simply decrease the % of burning HP in the devi and RH or limit them as the Drabaki`s title, but people wouldn’t need to spend to upgrade the weapons to +12 – +13, what do we do? remove those effects, change them to increase damage and ready, they spend on gear upgrades.

    new raids in a state of coma: bosses who ignore i-frames, manabreak and now ignore defense.
    I think it’s great they would like to improve the “mechanics” for the raids, but we see that they only last a week and return to the temptation of cash.

    So, I get that everyone here, have no idea what a real raid is supposed to be in RPG standards and are really talking bullshit, It`s a place where damage is not everything, where you can`t ignore mechanics, unless the mechanic itself is a DPS race.
    No KoG is not being greedy here, not even making something impossible to do, their are making something that will have longevity, as you actually need to plan with your party how you are going to do it before actually doing.

    All of those nerfs are for a simple reason, people were ignoring the MAIN mechanics from fights, because they could spam damage reduction.
    They actually are rewarding people who will do it correctly, don`t know if all of you guys are blind, but they reduced the obstacles HP so the gear requirement is actually lower than it would be, You know, there is a reason why Rosso does summon a lot of spikes, and it’s not because they are just flavor..

    You see, every single boss till now, could be ignored by delays, or by bulking stats up, those 9, are not about damage, it’s about team work. Korean’s are learning it in the hard way, why? Because the PCBang buff rewarded solo play, so no one there actually know a shit about team work. But i guess everyone here will also learn the hard way, since just from looking at chat, people are saying KoG is doing a bad thing. When actually It’s a really good thing.

    If your End Game, is not a challenge, but just a generic grind. The game gets lame pretty soon.
    I will bet most of Vanimir newer missions will have something akin to this difficult, to represent a real End Game an RPG should have, not a mission you can do in 2 minutes.

      Except KOG has designed the whole game up until this point to be nothing but mindless bosses with no incentive for team cooperation. Adding mechanics now is alienating the playerbase that they had built all these years.

        Elsword was already a social game, especially in the early days with a system of rooms and where the damage caused was very few to the bosses. It was not even a question of stupid bosses, but a single player would spend several minutes on every mission, causing them to meet people to pass the missions, and at that time you could even make true friends with players, getting to know others by nick, avoiding trolls, hacks and others. This “socialization” was gradually being replaced by the queue / match maker system, and gradually the players also got a lot of damage and queue’s buff (which is great on low-level missions or servers with few players(, even without needing such a high refining (which had its good side, since it is not something so pay2win). This situation added the playerbase that we currently have, especially in the international server where we have people from the most varied countries, and no prior communication between anyone is necessary

        You see, the queue’s system not only brought good things, but like everything else in life, it brought negative things, and in the past, something that you used to meet people and have fun doing it,now was replaced by a system where everyone is selected and there is little or no communication, because the queue’s principle is that everyone here has the same knowledge of the mechanics of the game and obligation to know what to do and how to attack. Now The players are seen as mere instruments that you need to pass from a mission, or worse, as it happens today, instruments that hinder and are carried by the strong.

        Here comes this Raid, and alienates the playerbase we had, since not enough have high refining, you will now have communication between the team. And this will not work on all servers, especially on the international (adding lag in this story).

        Anyway, I have already given suggestions of what KoG could do to ease the situation, but they just insist on getting worse, and the few who are defending just repeats “it’s end game content”, but fails to realize that their “end game” vision is: “Have money for high refining” (where CP system made the situation much worse.), adding the fact of the problem of the playerbase without socialization (especially on servers that are not local / national)

        Anyway, the numbers will show after how many people will continue going in this Raid, and in the end, may have the same fate as guild pvp, which KoG withdrew by having minimal players

          Yeet. My only problem is that you basically can’t meet the requirements without spending money on a +10 or +11. That problem could be fixed by making the gap between enhancements not be as big. KoG won’t do it, though, because they’re getting so much money from people being forced into getting +10 and +11. They’d much rather keep the money instead of sacrificing some of it to make a better game.

          And, uh, well, for the socializing part… That honestly isn’t gonna work well. Most of the NA community is not only filled with all sorts of cringe, but there’s also people from different countries that don’t even speak English, heck, I’ve even seen KR players here for some reason…

          This raid was clearly meant for the Korean playerbase as it assumes that not only everyone can communicate, but it also assumes that everyone has a +10 or +11, which are both extremely common in KR as they are easier to obtain.

      I have a few problems with this.
      Yeah, I get it, raids are supposed to be strategic and not mindless hack n slash. (Let’s ignore that this game is a mindless hack n slash to begin with.) But, that’s not the main issue. For the raid to be strategic does it need to be locked behind a pay wall? Pay wall = strategy now? It’s not even the fact you need the most updated gear now. Which is completely normal in any game. You actually have to put down money to even get the CP required to access it. I have enough CP to access the new raid, but I understand the frustration behind it. Especially since the change was so sudden and a lot of previous builds that people worked hard on are now null because the meta is now more narrow due to CP.

      And, the raid has a specific attack pattern that everyone will learn sooner or later so won’t everything be reduced back to a generic grind once everyone gets a feel for the boss attack patterns? It’s not like they’re randomized. And like with anything in endgame in any game it’s hard at first, but then everyone learns it and then it’s no longer hard anymore.

      Except there is no different difficulties and this raid is tied behind the main story. 300k recommended combat power is a blatant lie. A few issues here and there with combat power. And the fact that you throw 3 dungeons which ask for teamwork but never properly teach players, at least there should be different difficulties for this. Add on the fact that some classes suffer more from this than other top notch classes (those with insane DPS on top of party buff, which makes them valuable more). And debuffs? Still worse than buffs themselves even though it is clearly harder to maintain debuffs.

      KOG design character in this game is all attack, if you want feel real raid boss go watch log horizon season 2 ep 11, that’s how the raid is, not just all attack.

      You quit the game (quit xd) before Heroics were even released. You have no idea what difficult content exists in Elsword or how well you’d do in it. And yet, you are approaching this as though you could clear anything with your hands tied behind your back.

      Regardless, Shadowmega is correct about the story being linked into it = bad design. I don’t particularly agree with how the tiers are being done because that’s reflective of the leaderboard, not of clear possibility. Because it’s player-oriented with regard to who you bring, players will prefer higher tiers BY DEFAULT.

      Go research DFO’s luke raids, tier lists, etc. There will be meme videos where lower tiers still clear, but the preference of parties and reliability of the class (based on char main opinions and community opinion) do not suddenly change. All similar complaints from “f2p” audience as well from Anton Raid’s release, blatantly visible on past reddit posts related to DFO. Doesn’t change how well the game is doing, because player incentive still exists. There is a purpose to go to endgame and complete it…

    And still no CP system fixes, busting up the game all you want, this one system is all it takes to call the game BS. Also, all the endgame title blatantly throw at your faces the fact that no whales in endgame needs to pay attention to CP anymore that most of them are procs effects that have 0 CP value.

    As someone who has 1 whaled +11 char with over 600k CP, and all other alts being +9Heroics with CP only around 150k, I can see the validity of the argument of both parties. Of those who like and those who hate the new raid..

    In the end, it’s hard for KOG to design an endgame content that can make everyone happy. The whales want KOG to make something challenging & [quote-unquote] “fun” for them so that they have a reason to keep playing… [btw note how I put the word “fun” in quotes, coz I know the new raids still need many fixings]….. And then comes the f2p’s demanding those content mainly targeted for the whales to be just as “fun” for them to play. Do you guys think anyone can make that happen? An endgame content that’s enjoyable for both whales & f2p’s? Sounds impossible to me.

    But no worries f2p’s, just like any dungeons in the past, KOG will someday lift the paywall off of it and make it ‘accessible’ for the non-whales.

      Btw me personally, I think I’m gonna quit the game pretty soon. Not because I hate what KOG did to the game recently, but because you know, Elsword is a game and you grow up and you’ll someday just have to find a reason to quit. Unless you wanna remain a gamer your whole life.

      And the reason for me to pick this recent update as my excuse to quit is because they’re gonna release the new raid weapon, lol, which I’m sure is gonna be way stronger than the void. It’s great for players that are still passionate grinding things, but me, nah, it’s time to retire. I don’t like owning an “outdated” weapon, nor do I have the time & money to invest on the new weapon so yeah.

    They are now trying to enforce team work and strategies after we mindlessly run/speed run dungeons without thinking one bit. Of course people would b!tch and complain about it because you never see them enforce it that much due to how the game was design. imao

      I know everyone’s sick of hearing that Elsword is dying. But considering KOG has unloaded desperation move after desperation move instead of a more organic form of progression like other MMOs…..

      Yet, they won’t do the one desperation move that’s sure to generate long term interest in the game and give us more waifus with boobs. Namely those with established fanbases like Karis who’d also fill the role of the much demanded scythe user or Ignia who was so popular that they had to retcon the story to keep her alive.

    And I like how people refuse to learn new things through this raid and would rather seeing KOG make another dungeon you could just “mindlessly speedrun” through. I’m a speedrunner myself that make various records on YouTube but I like learning new stuff. Can’t wait the raid to hit NA & INT!

    People who are complaining are complaining because they are just complainers that like complaining about everything.
