Not too much of a change for the enhancement chances… however the fact that enhancement now requires only 1 material/scroll instead of multiple is a huge step forward. I am interested about the new enhancement weekly quest

But blacksmiths can easily make hammers and it would be kinda dumb to enhance without them so it doesnt really matter.
Its just like a permanent enhance event lol guys… No one, NO ONE, will ever upgrade anything WITHOUT an event. 1 mat ea try is the normal way to go since years.
A good move is to add an item to transfer the upgrade level and not a change of 0,035% and the option to waste the money every day from now on without to wait for an event.
Lets be honest here, it should be 100% ay least until +7 or +8.

Now we’re talking, considering they nerfed the support classes and such, this change is really needed.
Cutting the number of fluorite/repair scrolls needed is pretty huge. Wonder what the actual impact will be +10/+11 amulet price-wise in NA.

For me, it’s worse than before. They say that with the current blacksmith the chance is increased, where..? is the SAME as before.
And now with no events to give fluorites and scrolls, only the option to buy items from the cash shop remains.
This weekly quest, not even known what it will give, but judging by the old one, which gave a damn useless hammer, ONE FOR A MONTH, and still with a deadline, I don’t expect much generosity from KOG in this new quest.
My god can you stop complaining this isn’t a bad change. They could have ignored it til winter but they decided to handle it early and change requirements for restoration, an enhancing. Maybe if you wipe the tears from your eyes you can actually see when Kog does a little good.

Kog says that the problem is that ppl wait for enhancement events aka the enhancement events are the problem. this updated technically makes the event a permanent one, you get some free materials, and the cost reduction, you just can’t make the amulet like in the event.
How is it a bad change? we now get a weekly quest which will likely have enhancement materials that can help us enhance in general, but also all resources being reduced to 1 will lower the cost of failure or breaking of weps and gear, so please tell me, how is this a bad change? “oh the rate of increase is so low and we won’t have enhance event!” 1: The chance of success didn’t increase much but it increased. They could have left it the way it was. 2: Who said anything about not having enhance event? Where did u hear that? Because i haven’t seen a shred of evidence that it was being cancelled. More than likely they will change the content, but thats it. 3: The game is p2w for the most part, and if that weekly quest gives a fluorite or hammer, it will actually HELP the f2p players. You have a brain, use it.
Honestly i find these rates to be repulsive. Before and after the upgrade. Enhancement is too vital to the gameplay of the game for it to be based off RNG and have such low chances. A clear sign of terrible game design.

i would only like to not prof. change only to have a chance to get +11 or +12 in a particular character, if we already have a lvl 10 blacksmith i guess we would like to make use of it in our account and not just the blacksmith character.
i guess the only way to make use of this prof in your other characters will be in events, unless they some kind of mechanic like:
*bankshare new hammers, or make them account shared
*being able to enhance other character’s equipment from your same account).
*temporaly bankshare an armor or weapon while the equipment iself is locked and only being usable/reforged from the original character, this system will also be useful for that forgotten socketing feature from alchemist.
Back in the past atleast we had a random chance of getting something to sell like unique equip or just magical crystals. but now the blacksmith feels useless and an ed sink outside enhancement event. Making amulets dismantling its a way too costly and without a guarantee of obtaning even a -3.
on a side note it seems fixes are going in a good direction, thanks for it, even 0,1% its better than just wasting materials to not spend more money, and in a way we will be more willing to give it more tries due to this chande increase.
im hoping more good changes,fixes and giving some use to curently useless things like never used skills/effects/consumables (or giving them another effect on things like hyperskills); content like low grade mystic stones and pet’s gems, i would like to dismantle or exchange them for materials rather than just discarting or selling them for 200 ed.

The amount of people defending this really goes to show how Elsword’s community will just suck up to KOG for making the smallest of changes. This still doesn’t offset what was removed from the previous iteration of Blacksmith.
Nor does it fix that buffs need CP now… and plenty of other problems…
Starting to see why KoG/Nexon LITERALLY compared the Elsword playerbase to “sheep”, cause people are getting corralled VERY easy by the looks of it.
So many called this an improvement… which it technically is… if you’re using mythril and hammers. The original rates are still the same.
Oh, and now you can buy enhancement protection whenever you want… aka, “bring money”.
One small step forward and it’s getting praised like it’s the best update ever… right after KoG/Nexon went MANY steps back with things before…
