While the skill's tooltip implies that the artifact selection is random, it is actually based off certain conditions.
- If the nearest target is a mini boss or a boss monster, you will enter the Drill Mode.
- If the nearest target is a normal monster, you will enter the Cutter Mode.
- If there are no targets nearby, you will enter the Gemstone Mode.
You will only obtain the artifact after the final skill hit. If Lithia is interrupted in the middle of the skill, you will not receive an artifact.
Using the skill again will overwrite your current artifact.
- You lose your current artifact just before gaining the new one. If Lithia is interrupted during this, you will lose both your current and new artifact.
