PvP Season 3: Balance Changes

Category

Details

Knockdown counter

– Point where KD counter resets changed.

It is now reset when character is getting up after being knocked down due to full KD counter.
– Attacks that far-launch or knocks down decreases the KD counter.

lift-launching attacks are not changed.

– More gravity when KD counter is full.

Gravity modifier when using lift-launches repeatedly is removed.
– Added KD count to lifting Commands that didn’t have KD counts.

– KD count is decreased when using mid-air commands that far-launch or knocks down.

Unlike before when using aerial knockdown attack and catching, the KD counter is not reset but you can feel some KD counter decrease.

– Ara/Elesis/Add’s jump x attack hitbox changed.

Parry(Auto Block)

– Sword Knight(Auto Guard)/Raven(Core Parry)/Eve(Core Parry)/Ara(Flashy Wit)

Blocking motion is now affected by AtkSpd stat.

Install/Multi-Hit Skill

Changed so Initial hit does large damage and later hits don’t give hitstun.
(Target: Thorned Vine Trap , Dark Cloud, Kugel Blitz
)
– Hits don’t give hitstun but total damage increased.

(Target: Blaze Step, Install – Shooting Chaser, Instal – Ultimate Fury)

Mana Burn/Cooldown Skill

– Mana Burn count decreased.

(Target: Luna Blade, EMP Shock)
– Changed so Cooldown doesn’t exceed Skill’s reuse time.

(Target: EMP Shock)

Homing Projectile Skill

Changed so projectiles explode upon reaching targets that’s become invincible instead of spinning around the target.


(Target: Thousand Star Shock Balls, Scare Chase, Dread Chase, Shooting Star)

Defense Decrease Skill

– Changed so they decrease the defense 100%
(Target: Armor Break, Armor Crash
)
: Armor Break Note is changed so it increases the defense decrease amount.

– Following Skill’s defense reduction capabilities are decreased.

(Target: Armor Break, Armor Crash, Magic Chains, Tiger Art Stance 4 – Raging Wave, Ultimate Spearmanship, Both Suppressions)


– Following Skill get its defense reducing capabilities increased.

(Target: Install – Drone Activator. )

Damage/Attack Power Increase Skill

– Following Skills get their Damage increase counts reduced.

(Target: Critical Sword, Stigma Snipe, Provoke, Repel, Element’s Friendly,Discouraging Aura

: Stoic-Strong skill gets its counts decreased, It also gets different stats depending on PvP/PvE.

Some character’s System

Sword of Destruction
: Skill/Command Damage Increase is halved in PvP.
– Nasod Core Attack(Raven/Eve
)
: Changed so Core’s attack doesn’t ignore defense in PvP.

Nasod Armor Combo
: Changed so it doesn’t activate on installation type actives or commands that aren’t last hits.


: 1st job’s combo damage increased by 1.5

: DP cost doubled.

: Nasod Barrier’s DP cost doubled.

: Changed so Nasod Armor combo doesn’t activate on Dash Jump zzz command.

Overheat
: Overheat’s buff duration doubled. Attack increase count halved.
– Mercenary Behavior

: Overheat injury damage reduction adjusted in PvP.
– Overheat Mode Activated

: Attack power for Overheat gets modifiers.

Stun Skill

Stun Duration for following skills adjusted to 2 seconds.
(Target: Heavy Press, Impact Hammer)

Hit-type Buff Skill

– Fixed problem of allies being able to mana-break/recover MP/charge Awakening using these skills.
(Target: Airelinna, Atomic Shield, Tactical Field)

Elsword

Impact Smasher
– Hit’s afterimage removed.

Sword Shield
Hitstun decreased, duration increased.

Cruel Slayer
Buff duration increased

Lighting Step
– Buff duration increased

Aisha

Lightning Bolt
Fixed problem of hits increasing when using Skill Note.

Lightning Shower
Damage Decreased.

Gust Screw
Damage Decreased.

Gust Storm / Ice Storm
Damage Increased

Water Cannon
Added certain chance to freeze.

Chain Fireball
– Last Fireball doesn’t knock down.

Energy Drain / Vital Drain
Range limit adjusted.

Space Leap
Buff duration increased

Rena

Airelinna
Changed so Attack Speed increase affects jump speed.

Supple Movement
Cooldown time increased.

Eve

Hornet Sting – Shaped Charge
Piercing and Range increased.

Atomic Blaster – Plasma Gun
KD counter decrease effect added.

Sweep Rolling – Tri Vulcan
MP cost while casting decreased by half.

Induction Mode
Total homing range adjusted(decreased).

Photon Flare
– Debuff Affected by Light resistance.

Chung

ZZZ
– Fixed ZZZZ not connecting when holding front key.

Comet Crasher
– Fixed area being larger than skill effect.

Artillery Support
Also marks up to 3 closest targets.

Guard
Changes so it starts with Cannonball fire.
(Fires cannonball once. if there is none, it guards automatically
)
– Cooldown time changed to 6 seconds. MP cost increased by 5

Intense Showtime
– MP reduction value decreased, cooldown time decrease value increased.

Guard Note
Cooldown time increased by 4. Changes so it works in PvP.
– Changes so Z/X counters doesn’t work when hit during guard.

Energy Void
Damage Increased

Resurrection
– HP Recovery adjusted(slight increase) cooldown time increased.

Elesis

First Strike
– Hitstun increase cost decreased.

Add

Jump X
Teleporting issue in certain terrains fixed.

EMPShock
– Fixed issue of hitbox size being different than debuff area size.

Quicksilver Accel
– Changed so dragged enemy goes through allies.

Mind Break
range limit adjusted.
