New Magic necklace gives: 30% extra mana gain
Old magic necklace gives 1MP extra when hitting which is really OP when given to classes that have multiple hit skills suck as IS. For example if you hit a person 60 times, you would be given 60 extra mana than usual, which is really unfair in PvP.
Ereda Necklace is just the same as the New Magic Necklace, except the fact if gives other stats and can give things like 9% awakening charge gain, etc. (It also has the 30% gain)

The thing was unbalanced and they finally recognize it for what it is — an abomination that everyone just got used to. Now they just need to either address Ring of Fury or Guild passives.

Keep throwing excuses. Without Magic Necklace (the original), the multi-hit skills with low MP return got insane MP recovery. CBS is the #1 class that abuses this bullcrap.
Then there’s the fact that you get more MP when hit, MK-4 was a correct choice balancing the huge amounts of add damage people were (and still are) carrying.

if she didn’t use it the mp gain is so-so and most of the time she can’t use it because KR player can kill mob and boss really fast with +11 gear

Keep throwing your salt, it’s not going to bring back Magic Necklace and it’s a good thing they’re finally trashing the thing. If they trash Ring of Fury next then I will be completely blown away and happy, since it shouldn’t exist.
I’m not interested in the bullcrap people who want to defend the entire reason people get more mana WHILE BEING HIT. Tanky characters end up being better in Sparring, but in Arena that Magic Necklace helps the douchebags who don’t get hit but will hit you many many times.

The item was stupid and everyone got used to it because PvE became a lot more manageable. Broke Ereda. Check. Broke Arena when MK-4 was released when combined with guild passive. Check. Makes classes gain MP for moves that should be gaining little to no MP. Check.
Are you trying to cope with the change or are you just whining to me about it being removed because you have nobody else to talk to? Magic Necklace deserves to be removed, +1 MP regardless of skill hits is something CBS’ low MP gain moves definitely benefited from.

You all need to realize that it is easier to tackle the less problematic things first than tackling something huge like ChA/DL(Which is a mess) or MK-4(Which is a mess)
Sure, MK-4 might be a bit OP.
But just so you know, to get the buff you need under 50% HP, a person can 1hitko you with a skill still without the buff activating if you are over 50% HP, also they can crit you once the buff expires and ignore the armor. It’s only good with multiple hit classes when they hit you. Although the armor is pretty damn good for mana gain. ;^)
It doesn’t even reduce DMG, what 1.5x DEF increase at a 7% chance?, and considering Els KR is throwing +8~+9 ammy’s like candy, i’m pretty sure the armor isn’t that unbalanced, but it is good for squishy characters like my Dread Lord. Makes oriax become godly. :D i take 0DMG for 11 seconds when under 50%HP on my DL.
This armor is unfair though only on DL due to Oriax, although everyone still runs when i use Oriax.
Although i also do agree about Dread Lord, i main him yet i find that burst of terror bullshit, insanely OP and unfair, LIKE ALL DL’S rely on that fucking shit, they dont even use skills.
Just for the record, burst of terror allows me to solo GoD in under 20 seconds, while a full party usually takes 5 minutes or more. (BECAUSE APPARENTLY THE PORTAL HAS A BACK, WHICH I CAN ATTACK.)
