    so they nerfed the drop rate, upped the entry requirement, and upped the difficulty…

    funny considering with a weapon that good, the stage actually needs to be tougher than the toughest stage to clear on heroic mode

      Heroic gear armor is still the strongest (to the degree of breaking pvp balance already by itself), and this thing only yields a weapon. If you consider fighting two Type H’s easy, then that’s just how the cookie crumbles for you. This is practically a compensation weapon for people who didn’t get the chance to participate in raid, and since raid was purely amnesia tickets (grinding like what this dungeon does), it’s pretty fair.

      If you already had a +11 raid weapon or 4D weapon, this dungeon just looks like a joke. So now it’s going to be tuned for those people, despite the weaker players needing a weapon with easier access. Oh well.

        Because it’s fine getting a weapon more powerful than Raidweapons after ~8 hours, while many raiders had to grind at least 18 weeks for getting their weapons?
        Yes, sounds pretty good designwise.

        I will have to disagree with this part.
        In our server, Eltrion Phase 1 had week reward x 4 and Perkisas Phase 1 was too long with reward x 2 (droppable reward)

          I gotta disagree too. Only phase 3 was ticket spam and I only needed about 30. Scoring non stop SSS was good enough.

          I used up around 37 tickets myself and that was pretty much all I had to do for clean up. Sure, raiding as per normal was a thing, but that’s also because raid was once per day. That’s the only reason raid was ever really stretched out.

          Rose characters cannot possess a perkisas weapon and newer players in general might not have even gotten the chance to participate in raid for a legendary. Same for people who go on hiatus. I remember the primary motivation for some of my guildies was that no other strong weapon would show up outside of raids, making some of them even burn out on the game.

          You can stam pot grind this weapon at least and not have to pay out from the wallet compared to raid. No time limitations. Available for anyone that works hard enough for it. That’s how it should be honestly. The weapon being blatantly stronger than raid weapons with the dungeon not even being so hard is why there’s such a backlash. Is this weapon going to proc an effect that destroys 20+% HP on its own? No, and thus the pvp strength of raid weapons is still there.

            this is practically the point i’m trying to make. all the new weapon has is raw stats but people flip their shit over this…

            when you first get the damn thing, it’s like a weapon you can buy from a blacksmith but with higher stats and 5 (6 with a wedge) socket slots. there’s no special effects or NOTHING with it.

            but that’s where the stages (and +9 onwards) come in. it’s expected for you to not leave the weapon as a blank slate and actually GRIND this stage to increase it’s potential.

            but a lot of people only see the “OOH SHINY” part of the weapon, meaning they only see what it’s CAPABLE of doing, not what it starts off with.

            and then tons forget that if you already pack around 17k+ attack power, why the fuck are you going for a new weapon anyway? even 10k attack power is enough to handle regular dungeons and SDs and later weapons (even the bullshit ones from blacksmiths) give that much easy…

            when you take the time to sit back and thing about things, you’ll realize that if you already have the item lv to enter this (and heroic dungeons too), YOU’RE ALREADY STRONG ENOUGH TO UTTERLY DESTROY PvE! YOU DON’T NEED ANYTHING ELSE AND IT’S JUST FUCKING GREED AT THAT POINT!

            it’s the whole reason why I enhanced my weapon to +11, my top to +10, and will likely get better enhancements later, cause I don’t need to change my gear at this point. it’s just to make the high item lv areas easier cause I do it FOR FUN and not for gear.

            also as UNub said, not everyone got a legend weapon, this now gives them a chance. If you already have a legend weapon and want this thing, you’re just being greedy as fuck honestly.

    I already picked it up on my Rena..and I’m able to do this with Alterasia set +8 weapon Crimson Rose as well. It’s not fair that they’re giving such a huge F**K YOU to all legendary raid weapon holders.

      Only if you see it that way. Way I see it, you can spend months upgrading this weapon too. So I’d rather not go through upgrading another legend weapon again, especially since it’s +11 and I got 83% maximize AND oath of ruin. I don’t need to get stronger, I’m overgeared enough.

          honestly, i’m already seeing DW getting nerfed again just because of spurt….

          someone on forums is even making a “changes to Aisha” thread that they’re suggesting and actually suggested distortion needs a damage nerf too….

          end game is actually right in the fact that there’s no logic in what people spout out, but the thing is, EM does need nerfed, DW might need tweaks in some places, VP needs a slight buff (like giving her back her poison cloud), and all adds honestly need nerfed because they’re STILL braindead

          I mean hell, KOG gave DiE his godly sniping move back. either nerf it’s target area or remove the damn thing! it’s bad enough he easily builds up MP AND DP, both which can be used for skills…

          and let’s not mention LP’s jesus stun tracking punches or MM’s cheapness with Chaser…

          but they’re not the only ones that need changes… and given S5 PvP and transcendence, I think we’ll see another rebalance eventually

            as always, this game biggest mistake is not adjusting the skills individually for pvp/pve; but then there’s and even bigger mistake that’s prioritizing damage over defense (you can get aroun 30k damage but only get about 4,5k def at much? wut?)

            that being said; I consider EM might need a nerf on pvp, yes, but not that much on pve: she does pack a punch but aside from her trans skill frost edge, her cleaning skills are quite limited since her biggest aoe, the showers, are quite random and have lots of CD (well, the new memo passive might solve something tho, but that’s not enough)

            but knowing kog they are just going to nerf her horribly on all aspects of the game, just as DW because of energy spurt (why not just change spurt damage formula and make it a simple 4,5k% damage skill that might ignore defense, as almost every other skill?)

            just as BM shockwaves at the time which got their damage per hit and potential number of hits reduced, even that horrible damage reduction per distance, when the problem was that it was pushing mobs everywhere… (also why don’t they just delete emergency escape already and give BM a damage reduction passive with just a slight chance to block hits instead… even changing shadow step iframes for superarmor while reducing a bit its CD is considerable)

            it’s cause KOG can’t think for shit and then to fuck things up more BECAUSE they refuse to listen to anyone…

            players have been saying for the longest time to make skills function differently between the modes but KOG is pretty much like “no, we know what we’re doing! we’re gonna change the skills and piss players off more”

            at this point, given the new weapon’s max potential and transcendence, a lot are already asking fir the end of elsword is near…

            hell, we already got what would be the last lv cap and the final storyline dungeon…

            I admit that although I was part of the “elsword is gonna die soon why are we even playing” team that popped up about 1-2 years ago, the end now feels extremely rushed, heck it’s gonna end worse than bleach and that’s a lot

    … Okay, this isn’t related to the Patch Notes, but I just saw a translation of the final Story Quest of Episode 25, and as much as I hate it, Endgame was partially right… Elesis is the *successor* to the Lady of El, but she hasn’t yet become *the* Lady of El.

    That’s gonna be awkward in the Evolution timeline.
