Thx for the translation, but the more the time passes, the more I realize something about Asian “literature”: it seems that syntactically speaking and also linguistically, the authors are always writing and expressing complexity in the narrative, which results in a problem. Indeed, in fine, it is really unpleasant to read, because they are ALWAYS saying the exact same thing and expressing the same ideas but in different ways and extended on a LOT of pages, so they seem like turning around repeatedly for, let’s say it honestly, NOTHING. They could express an idea in simple syntactical structures, but no, they endlessly repeat the same thing but in different ways, and this consequently becomes heavy to read and to bear, sorry to say it. And this symptom seems inherent to Asian literature or at least, fan-fic literature. The fact remains that Add sleeping on Eun is cute.

Based on this comment, you seem to have the same problem.

      • DoIKnowU? says:

You feel offended because I emitted a constructive critic on Asian literature? In fact, I “repeated” myself purposedly in order to prevent comments such as yours: comments of people who don’t understand what I mean. Didn’t mean to offend anyone, only expressing a truth elegantly and constructively. Period.

        • Malla says:

But you said nothing at all really. I could take your whole paragraph and replace Asian with any other culture and it would be the same statement. There was no substance, no examples, just an opinion with 0 facts.

        • Anon says:

No, not offended. Just pointing out that you were repeating yourself most of the comment. Honestly I couldn’t give less of a shit if you want to slam Asian authors or anyone else for how they write, but doing the same thing as what you are complaining about in your complaint is just silly.

          • Male says:

We call that being a hypocrite.

            Don’t sugar code it.

          • Woooow says:

Oke, understood, I’ll never attack your holy Asian culture anymore. Because reading you, the only thing I perceive is only extreme worshippers of asian culture who don’t know how to take a critic and analyse it constructively. I like Asian culture myself, if not, I would not be there losing my time to comment upon this translation and arguing with spiritually restraint people like you.
And I repeat myself, the fact I tried to explain myself in a whole paragraph was to prevent comments such as all of yours who do not know how to decipher and analyse things.
But I have a clear idea about what you all are in the end..

So I’ll just stay in my position, OH and you want examples?
Simple: Add and Eun are arguing for several pages straight only about the fact that: Add could forgive Eun, while Eun wants a proper punishment. PERIOD. Only to end on fan-service with no narrative substance (which I do not criticize), I only criticize the amount of pages to repeat the same thing.

But don’t worry I won’t criticize your HOLY superior Asian literature anymore.

          • Dreamslayer says:

Wooow, you’re completely missing the point.
At no point did anyone say or even imply that they were offended.
The point is that you are committing the very act you condemn, which makes you hypocritical.
The fact that you fail to realize this point and put it on “holy asian culture” ramblings is why you have missed the point. To give you evidence of what people are trying to point out to you.

            1: You want to make the criticism that the authors are repeating themselves. You then proceed to repeat your own point at least three times in different ways, exactly the thing you condemn;

Exhibit A: “…it is really unpleasant to read, because they are ALWAYS saying the exact same thing and expressing the same ideas but in different ways and extended on a LOT of pages…

Exhibit B: ” they seem like turning around repeatedly for, let’s say it honestly, NOTHING. ”

Exhibit C: “they endlessly repeat the same thing but in different ways, and this consequently becomes heavy to read and to bear”

I could concisely replace your entire paragraph in two sentences to prove the point:

I find that in reading this, the authors tend to repeat themselves over and over while not exactly moving the narrative along in any meaningful fashion. I don’t like this, as it makes it a pain to read in my opinion.

          • Okey says:

The very problem of this reasoning being that, I MUST repeat myself in order to get understood? Why would you say? Simply, because some people here (perhaps not you) have not the analytical “recoil” and ability of thinking to directly understand my point. Thus, subsequently, I chose to repeat myself not in order to be hypocritical or reminiscent of the very thing I criticized, but simply in order to avoid ANY conflict due to misunderstanding. Obviously, the conflict I wanted to avoid happened in the end, a failure in itself. The adage says “repetition is the best way to comprehension” (at least in my country it says it this way, don’t the exact expression in English), WELL I lost faith in this adage in a single day. But I understand your point now. Just don’t say I’m hypocritical when I don’t mean to be, this hurts my sensibility (or not..).

  • Flow says:

  • Endgame says:

    Uhh…..

Is Ara/Eun’s left (Right from our view) boob just jaggy because the artist didn’t draw a curve properly, or is that Ara/Eun’s nipple I’m seeing on that cover image?

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was intentional. KOG already gave us Ara’s visible nips with the cash shop Asura cut-in. Not to mention half the artwork in these VNs are blatant fanservice…..

    • zetgeist says:

if you think “can tell where they are” is “visible”, you’re a very, very sheltered child, endykins. breasts aren’t spheroids unless they’re fake or the artist is shit-tier. she’s not wearing a brassier, nor anything else under that relatively thin robe, so of course the curve wouldn’t be perfectly round.

call back with complaints when something is actually exposed to the viewer.

  • zetgeist says:

boy who understands the problem, yet continues to cling to it. for a [smart] person, boy is very stupid.

  • Male says:

So can we start the Eun x Add ship yet?

  • Ryutaro980 says:

    (Sorry for my bad english)

  • Spatula says:
