At this point, I think it’s safe to assume that we are not going to see Elrianode or Atlas animated. We’ll just end with the conclusion of Lanox’s story and the Elesis ex Machina at the end.

Also, Lu can sense demonic energy by sniffing it. What the fuck?

    • Endgame says:

      Yeah, seems that way.

I wonder how they’re going to drag things out for another four episodes. Episode 9: Ignia Round 2, Episode 10: In, Episode 11: Jin, Episode 12: Scar + SSJ Elesis saving the day?

  • TheLuiz says:

This anime its 12min long, it will only run for 12ep, we are at ep 8 and we are STILL in Lanox.

HUM. I can sense the “learn the end of the story playing Elsword online” bs at the last ep.

or a second season, but knowing KoG, thats very unlikely to happen.

i still think they made this anime when they were in a good mood and then they were all like”shit, we have to end this thing…”

    • Endgame says:

Didn’t they announce the anime before Rose and the massive PR clusterfuck that ensued?

It’s entirely possible Nexon decided to half-ass this thing after announcing it because they feel Elsword is on its way out (Like everyone else that isn’t a KOG apologist…..) while the other two anime are taking their time and in the case of Closers at least, has much better animation.

Also, punishment for Aima. KOG offered them this game and it lost Nexon money hosting it for 14 months. They HAVE to be mad about that.

They DID show us concept art of corrupted Karis. So she was planned to be in the anime at one point. But they slashed the budget….. And here we are.

    So
a bit review for this week (?)

    first of all
KoG, as usual, trying to cut off some budget from this anime
since there are still some non-animated pictures lol

    second
    still a lot of chit-chat
ignia doing stuffs but not really a thing
    Scar is still annoying-but-not-villain-worthy
still like some shitty low-villain tier

    next
still no sign from elesis (lol)
i’m quite agree with people above me
looks like it would be an “Elesis Ex-Machina” ending

    fourth
for you people who asking where is “Ara on action” things
at this episode Ara did a bit of action
and maybe will do more next eps
but please don’t expect much from KoG lol

    last but not least
    for next eps
maybe it would become some “Ara x Ignia” and “ppl vs scar” thing
dunno if there will be some “rena, aisha, and chung’s comeback-and-save-ppl” thing
    but i’m sure it will
    and of course
    never forget “Elesis Ex-Machina”

    that’s all folks
    see you next week

    Nothing Happens: the Episode!

-It takes 1 minute in a 12 minute episode of which we are quickly running out of episodes before a single person makes any animation. And even then Aisha barely moves.

-Lu is….. sniffing out the demons? What the fuck?! She’s supposed to be an ancient demon queen and with advanced magic beyond that of any mortal, yet….. she’s SNIFFING out the demons instead of sensing the huge concentration of darkness from the ritual?

-Better yet, Eve is a sophisticated machine. Why couldn’t she accurately pinpoint the energy was below?! Ah, right. Bad writing.

-Elbrat catches on to Add….. then immediately says he trusts him because FRIENDSHIP! Oh lord…..

-I like how Lu was the one that pounded the ground in the first place but was completely unprepared for the fall and needed to be rescued by her pedo butler even though everyone else was fine.

-I also like how Ara brought up the question as to just where the fuck is Ran and why wasn’t he in Lanox.

-Oh, Ara actually did something. Hell, she was the ONLY one to do anything this episode! I didn’t expect that to happen.

-I doubt they’re about to kill Scar next episode then use the remaining 3 episodes to go to Elysion. So….. what the fuck did we rush through Hamel and skip Sander for again if we’re not even getting Elysion?

…..Lu’s expression in the thumbnail is how I feel about this episode. (Shut up LuckyDucky. I already know you’re going to try to twist this.)

  • KGI says:

This series is seriousilly down to earth. It’s so bad that I think even the ingame cutscenes did a better job (and hey, they didn’t even made one for Eltrianode).

This is like Megaman Starforce Tribe but got murdered ten times over.

    • Endgame says:

Let’s give KOG the benefit of the doubt and assume they didn’t make an Elrianode ending video because they want to feature the 3rd Jobs in it and not because of budget problems and/or they’re killing Elsword for KurtzPel like they killed Grand Chase for Aima. And since some of the “canon” classes weren’t in the first batch (GA, RF, CE, RG/Nob), they haven’t released it yet.

      …..

      Positivity is worth a shot?

  • Endgame says:

So….. can we just take a moment to discuss Ignia’s motive here?

Scar is trying to resurrect a demon god that will destroy Elrios.

Scar threatens Ignia to help her eradicate all life in Elrios or he will kill the priestesses! (Including the one he needs for his ebul plan.)

So Ignia is doing this to save the priestesses….. that are going to die anyway if Scar succeeds?

    The fuck?!

Y’know KOG, it would have been a lot easier to just have a cutscene of Jin making Ignia go evil the same way she controlled Sirena….. because not only do Ignia’s actions make no fucking sense, neither does her evil transformation!

Or you could have stuck with the original version of the story where Ignia is evil for reasons and then she dies and becomes the ghost that’s still in the fields despite her death being retconned….. (Apparently Ignia is a top waifu among the Koreans. Hence why this anime is focusing so much on her.)

    • Elrios Dweller says:

Eh, isn’t Ignia still alive? When did she die, exactly?

      • Endgame says:

When 9-6 was first released, she died when you beat her.

They retconned it to the new “Ignia was just working with Scar to protect the other priestesses!” story with the Story Quest revamp that added the voice acting. (Which also has the side effect of it making no sense why Ignia even fights you in front of Artea instead of just switching sides then and there now that Artea is safe.)
