Mana Stone Embed System Guide

What is Mana Embed System?

It’s a system that allows you to embed an ability hidden inside the mana stone to your weapon, empowering it.

Mana can be embedded into Secret,Heroic,Henir,Apocalypse Type-Void, Perkisas, Eltrion MK2 weapons that are unique grade or higher.

What is Mana Stone?

GMMackerel: Mana stones are largely divided into normal and special mana stones(Energy Disks).

Normal mana stones are dropped randomly in the Demon Realm dungeons and are divided into Red/Blue/Orange mana stones. >0<)

And Energy Fusion Disks can only be used on Apocalypse weapons. Please check  the table below for which mana stones can be used on which weapons.

Weapon Can be used
Cannot be used
Secret,Heroic,Henir, Perkisas, Eltrion MK2 weapons Mana Stone Energy Fusion Disk
Apocalypse Type-Void Weapon Mana Stone
Energy Fusion Disk

Hmm, it seems GMMakerel forgot one important detail and that’s the grade of normal mana stones.

They are categorized into Normal(Rare), Refined(Elite), Radiant(Unique) grades.

Higher the item’s grade, higher stat it will give.

Please check below for an example and the table.

[Example Effect]

– Normal Giant Mana Stone : Magic Attack +Lv.2

– Refined Giant Mana Stone : Magic Attack +Lv.4

– Radiant Giant Mana Stone : Magic Attack +Lv.6

How do you apply Mana Stones?

Visit Elysion’s NPC Hugo or Elrianode’s NPC Alchemist Refining Machine then….

And click  the Mana Embed(마력 부여) button to show Mana Embed window like above.

Mana Embed slots are divided into four groups, Red/Blue/Orange/Giant. Embedding the Mana Stone into the first slot of each group will open up the next slot in the same group and so on.

Mana Stone can be embedded one  per slot, in order.

(You don’t have to fill up an specific coloured mana stone slot before starting to fill up different colours.)

Did you know? That Mana Embed on Apocalypse Type-Void weapon is slightly different?

For players using Apocalypse weapons check the information below.

▣ Guide for players using Void Weapon

All the energy shards and fusion energy disks that you have can still be used, and the fusion energy disks have changed as shown below so it can be used together with the mana stone system.

However, energy fusion disks can only be used with ‘Apocalypse Weapons’

GMMakerel : Wait! ‘Energy Fusion Disks’ before the update had to be applied in order from 1~15,

But in the new mana stone system, for instance, even if you didn’t equip the red stage 1~5, you can still equip blue or Orange disks 1~5 in order.

Red Energy Fusion Disks 1 ~ 5 Stages
Blue Energy Fusion Disks 1 ~ 5 Stages
Orange Energy Fusion Disks 1 ~ 5 Stages

Aside from this, ‘Energy Fusion Theory’ effects that could be obtained from previous disks have changed into ‘Mana embed’ effects, but the stats themselves haven’t changed.

2na:

Information regarding what that locked section below the embedding window is still unknown. It says only unlocked for special type of weapons. It could be hint that a new type of weapon or a system that unlocks that section is coming.

So Either way the grind for Apocalypse Stages is now useless or Mana stones are just better considering the gotten effect/luck tho… Seems legit … Well done KoG now upgrade to lvl 90 my perkisas sockets

    • Flare Kyn says:

Uh, no? I’d still wager that the energy fusion disks are the better option. Plus it looks like you can embed more stones even after you unlock all of the stages for it, we just don’t know how unlocking those slots works yet.

      • Coki91 says:

I don’t know about you but i Would replace Stage 1 , 2 and 4 Orange for the sake of Attack lvl but would keep 5th and 3rd stage , as can be replaced without touching the others is what… half the grind needed for energy disks? … Well now that i see what you said it wont be useless , just shorter if have the resources for mana stones … But just in case of having apocalypse since Raid is better now…

        • Flare Kyn says:

I don’t think you can do that, though.

          • Coki91 says:

You can , it was specifically shown in a Stream of ZERO (the korean youtuber that mains Raven/Ara) where he had a spare disc and so tried out to replace that specific stage the disk had , worked well and could implement the stage back so… ye , you can

          • Coki91 says:

I can’t edit my previous comment so… I readed what i said and yes you are correct , You can’t go 1st stage then mana stone then 3rd stage , you have to get all 5 first so , the grind for the 5th stage would be still needed but we’ll loose kind of 3000 shards if wanna get META

  • Flare Kyn says:

Wait, the colored groups have more than 5 slots, but they’re all under some kind of lock. How are those unlocked?

  • Lolme says:

    So the history repeat itself

    • Flare Kyn says:

History? I don’t recall this ever being a thing in Elsword’s history.

      • MagicSpice says:

they probably mean that new mechanics will lead to overpowered effects, then lead to class nerfs like they were the problem…

that’s happened multiple times before, so it’s not off the mark to think that

  • JohnBubble says:

What are the effects of these Mana Stones? In Henir, Heroic and SD gear.

  • JohnBubble says:

so I understand, to make the mana disk you need Energy Shard and Mana Stone. It will be very difficult to craft now.

  • awsed says:

I believe using full henir sets with hero sets on characters that don’t have a void+elianode will actually be good

well, I just need to pull a lower with matk to finish all my henir variants then (gloves with 200mp and 300mp, lowers with patk and matk) and my alts will be happy then c:

  • Lord Aurora says:

Guess it would kinda be pushing it but, would’ve been nice if Perkisas and Eltrion weapons had their own unique sets of effects/drops to give them something special and make them not as powerful, but similar to the apocalypse wep (though i’d love for them to be equally as powerful qq)

Great that they were included in this system too as they’re unavailable now, but also feels like a slap in the face considering they’re virtually equal to that of Heroic/SD/Henir gear… But ah well, can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Still feel like it could’ve been really cool to have a ton of fiery effects with the Perkisas wep and lightning effects with the Eltrion wep tho- could’ve been so cool qq

    • Coki91 says:

What are you talking about? Perkisas is stronger than Stage 14 Void (at least on +9 both , in +10 both, void may go a LITTLE higher) with this sort of new added effects Perkisas/Eltrion will easily beat any Void weap even with +11 Enhancement tho

      • MagicSpice says:

except in base stats, cause void still has more

        • Coki91 says:

Well , i don’t pretty much care about a slight increase of my HP / Defense / Damage Red however the damage becomes higher (As perkisas/eltrion damage is higher…) so maybe we can left the void weap to be a PvP weapon at all since Perkisas Rage / Eltrion Wisdom aren’t that trustable on pvp

          • Lord Aurora says:

Imean I’m pretty sure Perki/Eltrion weps aren’t as strong as Void weapons-

I mainly say that as, with all the stages it has and enhancement levels, the only reason Perki/Eltrion weps would do more is because of the proc effects or if they’re being compared whilst the add wep is under stage 5 (Since logically, a lv 85 wep with p/m attack lv +10 wouldn’t surpass a lv 95 wep with a p/m attack lv +3). Even then though, that’s regarding the Legend ones only.

And let’s not forget a full stage 15 + 10 Add wep is basically a minimized 4D set, missing the MP cost reduction which you get out of +11 lol

Either way point being- It would be nice if Perki and Eltrion weps were treated like a bit more than just heroic/SD weps (considering they all use the same mana stones) and had their own unqiue effects. I never said they needed to be super OP effects, just unique to the 2 weapons as Raid weapons took serious effort compared to SD/Heroic weps now… and even Add weps are easier to get than the legend grade raid weps were back then-

          • MagicSpice says:

Actually, void might have perk/eltrion beaten cause it not only has a 10 lv difference on base stats, it also increases skill damage and has a higher phys/mag lv increase than what the other two can give.

This new mana stone system might give the other two a chance to catch up to the void weapon

          • Flare Kyn says:

Thing is, I don’t want raid weapons to be better than, or even equal to Apo-Void, unless they make it so that you’re always able to obtain raid weapons. I honestly don’t like the idea of the best weapons of the game being limited time, ’cause it basically locks out anyone who didn’t even have an account back then from getting the meta builds.

          • xLunatix says:

I agree with Flare, the old raid weapons shouldn’t be on the same level as the void weapon because the +10 phy/mag stats with make it way op plus these new stat effects. The only time that should be a thing is if raid stays permanent since players who didn’t had accounts back then wouldn’t even have the options to get those weapons. Besides, back then, to really get those raid weapons you needed to be in a really good guild AND have enough enhancement levels to reach on the board to get enough points to make the weapon legendary grade, which is in that aspect of pay to win at that time, little similar now but they’re trying to eliminate that.

  • NoctisCae1um says:

If there is a new weapon coming out hopefully it’s stronger or can rival that of the void weapon(Doubt it, but time will tell), if they were to make it surpass the void weapon, then it’d have to be pretty freaking good to use cause the void weapon as it is is better overall cause of the massive increase to stats it can give.

    • NoctisCae1um says:

(Wish there was an edit) Which means there literally is no reason to use another weapon other than the void weapon which still leaves it as one of if not the best weapon to obtain in the entire game.

      • MagicSpice says:

if you’re like me and don’t want to throw away a perfectly good +11 raid weapon which took MONTHS of grinding… this is now an option to bring it to more power.

i got +11 on that thing with the intention of keeping it no matter what cause +11 is not cheap

        • MagicSpice says:

also, last i checked, the stats on void will end up the same. they more or less changed the hard numbers (like crit +1001) to % numbers (now listed as 7%)

        • NoctisCae1um says:

That’s fair enough. I’m assuming it’s legendary. I was stuck with a unique raid weapon for a long time until the void weapon came out. So I’m kind of hoping there isn’t a weapon that’ll surpass it cause +10 or higher ain’t cheap either. I spent $200 for +11 and it turned out to be stuck at +10 so I pretty much refuse to go any higher than +10

          • MagicSpice says:

There hasn’t been legendary armor yet so if anything, that might be their next step.

Plus void is already lv95 requirement and 99 is the cap so they can’t do too much more on the weapon side unless they get harder and harder to get each time

          • NoctisCae1um says:

Isn’t Elrianode armor level 95? Not sure how they would do legendary armor, possibly make it where you can exchange it into a legendary set keeping the stuff on it perhaps?

          • Flare Kyn says:

@NoctisCae1um The mechanic you’re talking about already exists, it’s called Upgrade.

I’d like to be able to upgrade Elrianode armor to Legendary. Maybe the Demon Realm can make it happen.

          • NoctisCae1um says:

Oh yeah that’s right Upgrade that’s the mechanic i was looking for. Haven’t played in a while lel

  • MagicSpice says:

So void looks like it got the same stuff, but more ways to get those stages…. or possibly manipulate it with different ones due to mana stones, but idk…

but at least the other things can FINALLY catch up a bit…

  • Katja Eclair says:

Good, I can skip stages 1-5 on Void weapons now.

  • YY says:

I’m gonna replace stage 1-4…welp others hard to decide which is very useful in pvp
