            tho gale was nerfed and 1 single skill can easily deplenish your bar so i’m not so sure about this passive… is way better than the former state of it that for sure.

            Gale was nerf hard tho BQ now has a CD passive making that a bit easier to get 5 skills in that 10sec but skill’s start up and end time tho makes it some what harder to get 5 skills in 10sec

            Um, Actives count toward the skill requirement. Just spam those.

            Only Special Actives count for that. Read the wiki. The only thing that does not care about active/special is the cooldown reduction.

            The wiki did not update the description of the skill, only the effect. The description on the wiki still states that Survival Instinct is an effect that increases damage. The patch notes specifically state that Iron Body – Strong doesn’t count, but otherwise simply says “skills”, not “Special Actives”.

          nah there not drunk after look more in to the buff from what i know and played if you would die, the res passive kicks in: removing debuffs, and healing her, then when you revive from the passive then if you fail to use 5 skills in 10sc she dies again but if you do get 5 skill in 10sec, she’ll get doubled the healing for up to 20% additional of her hp.

      Kr’s were complaining that her damage was lackluster/ bossing was bad with casual gears ( compared to EtW’s using +6/+7 and can do add in under 2 mins) so these buffs look solid. buff duration increases and nothing Too major.

      They are probably just rolling out buffs for her because they aren’t releasing 3rd path for a few more weeks to a month, so they have to keep Laby players invested.

    The fact that Radiant Soul was buffed enrages me in so many levels
    EW was slightly nerfed on RaS release
    yes i’m still salty about that
    and chances are that Radiant Soul will be nerfed as well when Daydreamer get released

    Grand Arrow change: Fantastic, now I don’t have to change my playstyle to using Hunter’s Steadiness every 15 seconds to keep stacks… Actually i guess I still have to change after allbecause Aero Strafe isn’t really a mobbing skill. And the cooldown is 14 seconds (so you have 1 second to use it before you lose your stacks, unless you are gonna stack with other great PvE skills like Rapid Shot, Arc Shot, Backflip Shot, Ace In The Hole (a little better) and Hunter’s Steadiness (inconvenient to use in the middle of bossing or mobbing because it stops you))

    Stigma passive change: Well, now you don’t even have to think about using active skills to stack. But since the rebuff has a 30 sec. cooldown, now there’s a different complexity level where you have to keep track of how many arrow skills you’ve used so you can use the 3rd arrow skill and unleash the debuff at the right time.

    Of course a lot of dungeons don’t even let you debuff so this may be totally irrelevant for endgame Renas (disclaimer my Rena is not endgame, can’t enter Raid)

            1. He losing to SAME two guys again and again. Like – let’s judge about classes based on 1-2 pro guys who’s stats and gear we don’t even know, right?

            I respect the modesty that Abeyll has given. Aisha (particularly Oz) is OP and would indeed need the nerf to tone things down. Fair enough. However, let’s try to avoid using “Aisha” as a general reference since it’ll look like Metamorphy is involved in the blame. MtM already her her own issue to deal with regarding catching mechanics being elusive upon instances, but again let’s not try to garner aisha as the norm because I’d hate to see MtM involved when she’s only subpar atm. It sucks that Metamorphy is less practical than Oz so I think it’d be great if Metamorphy get like fixes and perhaps some minor buffs here and there.

            I honestly don’t really see how Oz is OP (or any Aisha really), but then again, I main MtM (mained that route since S2 PvP so at least 5 years) and pretty much stick to 1v1…

            Did not think my personal opinion would blow up this hard though.

            I can see some cases where all 3 do need toned down, but with the fact that two of the 3 routes have glitched combo game that never got fixed (and Aisha gets a lot of unnecessary bad rep from mainly teleport which is honestly a predictable move), not fully sure.

            But even still, can’t deny that the easy MP access is a major factor. One gets free MP from awakening (which is easy to do cause she can pot shot with dark balls for low MP cost), and the other two get it from skills (one of which is available pretty easily and honestly shouldn’t be a thing in PvP). And MP can manipulate a match rather easy (mainly by giving access to whatever actives people bitch about).

            And that’s on top of charging MP… by the time someone reaches my MtM on a long map, I have at least 40 MP just by letting them come to me… that’s honestly OP given there’s actives you can’t MB and some (like energy road) that can get super armor traits…

            The major nerf that we’ve constantly seen go into the death zone of dead strategies is clocking, and Phantom Breath post-buff is accomplishing that much.

            They’d only need to kill the hitstun on the skill after a few seconds in order to effectively make her play fair instead of stall and charge for uninteractive MP gain that is made to compete directly with landing consecutive Z attacks nonstop.

            Any nerfs after that would only need to target Mana Steal and she’d be much healthier to play against. Every other character has gotten nerfed for this, Oz should be no exception.

        Even her non-stacking skills are busted. Take for example Splashy Splashy, a MAGICAL base skill, that is your most trusted bossing skill against tiny to medium sized boss. It deals tremendous amount of damage even as a physical character (23.5k% of your magical attack, iirc).
        Next to that you have 2 demolishing skills against medium to large sized boss : Mod Laby Bomb, and… Tropical Pop.
        Tropical Pop reach a disgustingly high amount of damage even for 300MP. It’s especially obvious to see when you take some popular boss fight like 11-4, or Drabaki, and you deal 42k% damage on it with a single skill press. It’s even more than the super dreaded Mod Laby bomb full hits !

        She also gets really generous cost reductions on her stacking skills thanks to her passive, her CDs goes by really fast thanks to her passive making seconds go by faster once you press ctrl, a 15% damage increase when using Mont Blanc or Nisha Is Pocket.
        And also nice 1.2k% homing bubbles(2.4k% in total) on auto attack that also pops a 15% HP/MP regen orb.

        She really has everything lol.

Impact Zone and Super Nova are both a “AoE.” (Area of Effect) Basically it’s based on the size of your skill’s radius and diameter. Now while I do admit that Super Nova is freakin’ big with giant potion AND looks like it can reach anything, but it’s still never going to be big enough to reach monsters from far distances. As you should already know, MtM don’t have any genuine “clearing skills” that can wipe the map from point A (across to the other side) point B. You know – a skill that travel accross the map. Well, It’s more convincing because it’s more consistent. An AoE skill will require you to respam again and again upon specified area. Keep in mind that MtM is only limited to 2 true AOE skills only.             Well, o happen to use crazy worm and mod guillotine, which have some good range in their own rights (not screewide, but noticeable).

            And mod distortion… pretty much the MtM version of blaze step, but with damage being 100% even per hit instead of large damage in one shot (still good for mobbing with enough damage).

            Granted she is a bossing character, but she has options. And I don’t mean her base job moves either cause despite them being good for any PvE aisha, gust storm and meteor call are still mag damage and she does far more in the phys damage department.

      So, a passive that converts Metamorphy’s magical damage (Meteor Call) into physical damage? Why not have the passive that converts “all” of her magical properties (base skills) to physical instead? That way you’re not exclusive to one skills: Lightning Bolt, Gust Storm, Gust Screw, Chain Fireball and finally Meteor Call all becomes as strong as should be expected.

      While I do appeal the idea of converting magical to physical damage, this probably will cause a riot as other players will begin to believe they should receive the same treatment; convert magical/physical to desired effect… Personal appeasement like these should be kept to a minimum to avoid conflict between KoG and players.

      I’ve seen too much demands from players whom pressured KoG from time and time again, and that’ll only tarnish things down — the sustainability of KoG gets complicated between players and themselves. I understand KoG screw up a lot and can’t do things right sometimes, but if you look at it from rational and consumer perspective, all experiences are based on opinions and even prejudice (those who no longer played but claims things based on preconceived opinions.. I’m looking at you Endgame).

      Everyone desires things differently, which why KoG will do what’s best to appease for everyone in “general”. For me, if I dislike/hate the hardships of a certain patch, (and all the ones before or future updates) then I’ll just stay neutral and accept its reality for what it currently is. Basically I still care about unfair updates, but not to the point it matters more than anything.. After all, practically nothing you can do but wait patiently for next patch. Also, refrain from setting your expectation on KoG “all the time”, as that would lead to the consequence of disappointment and/or depressed. You can hope, but don’t expect too much.

        There’s no direct answer whether or not KoG hates Aisha. We can only speculate by theorizing that KoG hates her based on Metamorphy ‘alone’. But I’d like to avoid thinking of that because Oz Sorcerer is rather OP in PvP right now, if you know what I mean. Aether Sage differs in PvP, but her PvE aspect is top-notch at clearing. Compared to MtM where she’s limited by 2 AoE’s (Impact Zone & Super Nova).

        In PvP, MtM’s catching mechanics aren’t well-rounded. All of her 100MP catching special actives are based on stuns. (Impact Hammer, Heavy Press, and Air Stunner.) If your opponent happens to have high light resist, that becomes an issue; especially with lag. You’d need to bring Binding Circle if there’s no other option. (despite the fact that Binding Circle cost it cost more MP) At this rate, you have to play like a ninja to keep up with those top 100’s PvP tiers. While some people love a challenge, MtM is no exception when it comes to, ” requiring real skills” to maintain that position. Sure, MtM is strong with commands like ^z dmg, she’s fast and can be quite the formidable foe when use her right, but in the long term, her “catching mechanics” are still rather elusive…

    I have finally defeated the Black Mage and perhaps found the strength to quit MapleStory once and for all. And with that, I have decided to retire from kMMOs altogether. And thus, no longer have an interest in following Elsword to watch KOG crash and burn.

    Because honestly, it seems the entire Korean industry is slowly dying. The industry has grown stagnant as mobile games slowly consume everything. The last game I saw announced that I had interest in, Peria Chronicles, seems to have been silently canceled. A bad sign as that was a kMMO that truly had ambition. Perhaps that ambition was its downfall. And whenever there is a good kMMO (Lunia, Elsword, Closers), it eventually gets that update that leads the game down a new path that ultimately ruins the game. Namely since kMMOs seem to replace game directors at the drop of a hat. MapleStory is the one kMMO that has stayed true to its self. And….. it’s still too damn grindy. With no signs of trying to streamline the game. (Reboot was a step in the right direction, but not a step far enough.) And with the increase in loli bullshit, it’s slowly turning into the Japanese industry. Everything that made Korean games stand out is slowly being stripped away.

    But the truest sign that it is time for me to go, is that Nexon’s founder himself is sick of this industry as well and has put Nexon up for sale. Looks like he doesn’t see a point in it now that the Black Mage is gone too.

    Also the Elsword community is 99% irredeemable human garbage. So it’s not like I have any incentive to stick around. Not sure what it is about Elsword that attracted that kind of asshole even back when it was good and the edgelords and lolis that drew in even worse people didn’t exist yet. But that’s how it was. That’s how it always will be. So whatever.

    But before I go, I just gotta pay my last respects to the Black Mage. The perfect boss for me to retire on. Not only did he actually live up to the hype of being the ultimate boss after 15 years of buildup (Although there’s some pretty cheap shit he pulls. Especially Phase 3. Who knew something simple like a knockback could singlehandedly make a fight super cancerous?) He was pretty much the main character of MapleStory. While pretty much anything else is identified with the heroes, MapleStory was pretty much associated with the Black Mage. And in the end, he actually turned out to be the hero of sorts. (His true goal was to remove Transcendents from the world as he believed no one entity should have that much power. He himself acting as the prime example. And in the end, what he really wanted was to die. He basically engineered his own defeat. So basically he pulled one big Zero Requiem to unite the Maple World and help prepare them to deal with the boring space Nazis he’s being replaced with.)

    There truly won’t be a villain like him again. And I think that over time, even MapleStory will wither and die without him as its driving force. That or whoever buys Nexon will probably screw it up.

    Farewell. If it turns out Hell is real maybe we will see each other again.

I certainly won’t miss you shoving your headcanon about the characters down our throats anymore.

      Whatever though, maybe you will benefit from time away from all of us and learn some sort of valuable life lesson. …Probably not though. You seem so deeply embedded in your own delusions that it seems unlikely you will ever see the reality outside your bubble.

  • Once again: CC IS LEFT BEHIND. The dude is seriously outdated at this point. At least give him *SOMETHING* that can combat all of these critical damage increase/ more damage received sh!t. The dude has been out in the cold for far too long.

    Something need to be buffed on CC, it doesn’t have to be massive but with how things like this are turning out, his outdated kit is really going to screw him over. It’s not that the kit and passives he has are weak: it’s that they got nerfed badly and were left in such a bad state while others got more damage that overcomes his passives and niche.

          i mean BQ rez passive does not really screw her at all it really easy to do 5 skill in 10sec.. plus it has a Re-activation cooldown of 60s anyway she even gets a CD Buff as well making it easy to do 5skill in 10sec. even the passive gives her a 100% HP additional Recovery rate. it’s to balance out that NI had a revive and BQ didnt, it was also a massive buff to BQ

          • Yeah, but it isn’t any excuse to give her a resurrection buff along with so many other buffs. That’s like me giving FP the ability to resurrect and automatically get Berserk mode without touching CTRL, despite already giving him high as sh!t damage further.

            It doesn’t balance out anything imo.

            I’m talking PVP, Raid is another thing so I agree with you on that.

          • I could careless if she is “bad at raid”: CC is bad at PVE: what’s your point? You don’t see him getting revives: you just see WW getting nerfed. The fact of the matter is that she didn’t need it.

            About the PVP argument: so what? What’s your point? It’s still a revive that grants her more damage and sh!t. She didn’t need a resurrect. I’ll say it again: It doesn’t balance her with NI when hers is literally a 2.0 version of it.

That’s like giving CC the ability to revive and get a “unyielding spirit” buff that makes his defense get higher after it.

      There was a lot of times they were nerfing the Aisha classes and Code Nemesis…

      • Yeah there were, but in that 9/20 patch Meta got that physical damage increase passive increased *FURTHER*, so they had to revert it because it was that strong.

        I also gotta agree with QWQ here. I main CC, and he’s not as fun as he used to be because he’s been nerfed way too far and his passives barely does sh!t now. I know he was broken before, but he only gets *9% physical attack damage increase* in PVP and *9% max HP increase*? That’s barely even more damage compared to what others get. He doesn’t get rewarded for doing his job of tanking and getting 3 beads like a FP would(who barely even needs 3 beads he just needs 1 to 2). Then I look at classes like Meta who barely gets that same amount of BS he got or other male chars that suffered the same f8 like RM(they tried buffing him further although I got the feels it won’t change much). You look at 9/20 and you see mostly the female chars getting the most insane things.
