I really like a lot of these buffs and I feel for anyone who got nerfed even if I think some were pretty fair like with Shakti

He didn’t “over perform” in PVE, his PVE is still mediocre compared to others, and his damage is still pathetic. So how about *you* stop being in denial. CC isn’t a monster, he’s a weak little princess supporting other classes with Rapid Guardian and Pandemonium.

He was at a strong spot and for him losing some stats on Rapid Guardian he gained a lot of damage through Fear being affected by ASD. In fact CC PvE has always been strong since his third job, but people were and still are in denial about that.

NI is not outdamaged by any character at all lol, in the time it takes a Shakti/DyB/DB/FP to deal as much damage as a single RoF, NI has already done another RoF and a Giga Prominence lol
Against giant bosses RoF is god tier. But not all bosses are giants. Shakti does broken damage from whatever she does on which ever boss without having to aim or position, just press a button and bam damage. at least u need to aim RoF at small bosses and even if you get optimal hits in you will do around the amount of damage revolver cannon does if the small bosses are grounded. DaB ace in the hole enough said. DB I don’t have enough experience with him but I know he can get all his hits in from super sonic on any size monsters w/o losing damage. FP mains fire burning punisher their hardest hitting skill every 5-6 seconds. I’m not saying NI and RoF shouldn’t have been nerfed I been expecting this nerf since the reboot went down. But shakti, DaB, DB, and FP who are as equally busted should have gotten hit too.
Well it seems KoG is out to make raven the next rose as they have destroyed RH during reboot, FB got the most retarded nerf that will hurt him more than it novas nerf. And NI will I probably get nerfed more in the future cause rain of fire will still destroy giant bosses with the current “nerfed” stats.
NI gets out damaged by lots of chars. DB, Shakti, Cent, FP, FB (Before this nerf.) Oz, RM, DaB, Cent and many others beats him in 12-7 and the new master dungeons hands down.
NI is one of the strongest raiding classes. What are you on about? He does whale type damage with just an +10 FoJ.
He is strong but he is weaker than those 4….well unless you have alots of characters that reset or accelerate cool down in the party <- with this it’s possible to out do DaB but DB and shakti not so much. Also what makes u think a +10 shakti or DB can’t do whale damage????
I agree that Shakti should’ve been hit with the nerfs coz it can easily outdamage all other chars but NI is strong too. With a decent cd buffers, NI can easily outdamage all of them except Shakti even with Rapid Guardian nerf. To be honest, CD reductions doesnt affect DaB at all so if it’s a good cc + bl + mel then NI can easily clap her. As for DB and FP, the downside of their core skill is their channelling time but with decent attack speed it’ll be hard to outdamage them.
Show me one video of an NI doing even over 30b/min. Then i’ll show you every char i just listed in another reply doing over 50b/min.

The problem lies elsewhere, they basically buffed irrelevant and outdated skills that no one uses (meteor shower & lightning shower,I don’t know about cyclone, but I doubt it is that useful considering it’s usage in PvP/dungeon),circle of flame got a small buff in PvE (171%) but otherwise got nerfed in PvP, so it’s a nerf for PvP mains and a buff(?) for PvE mains, this patch felt just felt like they’re trying to stall for some time.
Since I play just to have fun, I use Meteor Shower and Lightning Shower, they’re my favorite skills in AeS lol, so at least in my case I appreciate the buff.
I mean you can like the skill or whatever, but it’s an undeniable fact that it’s trash compared to other skills whether it is in raid or rigo dungeons, but you’re right it’s still a buff, not a usefull buff in any means, but still a buff

You keep telling us CC to “get good” every time we’re nerfed, but whine when a small little damage nerf is applied to any other class. Face facts: CC didn’t need nerfs in PVE, and those PVP ones were uncalled for. There’s literal star rank CC’s that play him to the very best of his ability and even they agree he’s not in a good place.
This isn’t a scenario of “getting good” it’s a scenario of struggling because of the amount of BS nerfs your class has been assaulted with.
in PvP its still a more experience more reward type of scenario just think about the star rank CC having alot of experiences with it
CCs PvE is quite strong in any region hes in since his third job, these adjustment don’t even change it especially considering Pandemonium debuff now being affected by ASD. The only nerf he received in this patch for PvE is Rapid Guardian, which is just a wrist slap in all honesty. It doesn’t affect his PvE in any major way, because his skills were already fast in casting and had quite low CDs when sufficiently geared.
PvP-wise he is still a monster. Those changes don’t impact him negatively at all, because he still has Guard at his disposal, mod BW, Caladbolg Pain and him simply being Chung. No star rank CC I know of ever complained about him being in a “bad spot” except when he fights specific classes like CS or EW. But this is more a matchup-issue than anything else, which plagues other classes aswell.
I don’t know which CCs you speak of, but my best guess is that they don’t exist or they overhype themselves. Crying about those small adjustments can only be responded with “gid good”, because you guys refuse to even play him correctly OR even adjust to those changes.
CC did get nerfed in this patch, at least in pvp a decent amount.
Of course it’s Mewy that wants CC nerfed. It’s not like we don’t do damage, have zero ranged counter actions tools, a good special active changed into a terrible PVP option.

So, I am curious, but why the FB nerf??? Like, there was literally no reason to nerf that, and then to add insult to injury, they give us a crappy 10% CDR, 10% is barely anything lmao, it’ll only shave off an average of about single second for most of his skills……
If you really wanted to give us CDR in exchange for that 20%, make it at least 25%… That way we can get skills out *actually* faster.
As a Laby main, I am honestly surprised they didn’t make Inner Aurora an Active. Heck, they didn’t even touch it…
At least, it seems like they addressed some good and coherent nerfs such as the command range (though I was hoping for a nerf AND an adjustment, seeing how EtW’s >>zz(x) doesn’t connect when done against a wall) and the status decrease, as well as EtW’s dash count being reduced to 4. Honestly, the Inner Aurora change would’ve been perfect here and most people would’ve stopped complaining about her for good. But I guess that’s here to stay.

like noone use actives like Oopsie or Pretty flower in pve in general. Go away(either normal or mod) is realy useless for dungeons, since its melee skill with low damage, i would say its more like pvp-only skill. Poke it?[mod] is good for clear, normal… well i doubt anyone use normal version if they have a mod. This will sting is kinda ok too, except you have to be face to face with enemy do do any noticeble damage with it.
Mirror shield is realy dumb actually, the buff duration is short, compared to other chars who have buffs for 30 sec or close to it. and it gives only 10% attack, which would be fine, it this buff mana cost would be less than 100 mp… the only buff comes into a mind with same effect and duration is Devi’s Repel, but this buff cost no mana and use 2 energy, which Devi recover in 2 sec without doing anything during awakening. but Mirror shield cost 200 mp for same effects!
as for raids, yes, she is low-tier. ofc ppl invite you with FoJ +12, cuz anyone do damage with it(not sure you have it, but i don’t). but her damage output nowhere near top-tier chars with the same equip, like twice lower at best. also she is useless for party except damage(which is low, so she’s useless for party in general), she got no buffs for party, no debuffs for boss(the only debuff is Bibi 10% defence debuff for 10 sec when you summon it, which it pretty useless anyway), so any char with either buff, beduff or heal would be better than NL. when i was 400-500k CP i was wasting several hours every day do get into raid once a week. like when ppl looking for fresh players for marks and they don’t care who you are if only you are 0% clear, they still don’t invited me, cuz literaly anyone is better, than NL, even if they are 400k CP and don’t do anything noticeble in raid. like they can still have one single buff or debuff and it makes them kinda usefull, so ppl invite them instead.
so yes, NL need buff in PvE. specificaly damage buff, since she got nothing else. if she can’t be usefull because of not having buffs or debuffs, the only way she could be usefull in dungeons if she does high damage.

Kinda hard to get used with eve airdash reduction, its a bit too sudden especially someone with good muscle(finger) memory. (can i do one more airdash? ok nope, lul)
the way that elsword’s company handles the patch is just BS, yes theyre nerfing the OP ones but also nerfing the okay ones? this is supposed to be a “Balance” patch how is that balanced if theyre nerfing the ok/balanced classes?
not to mention the fact they keep ignoring weak chars aswell. like, they keep neff NL in PvP, but ignore her in PvE. i kinda agree about PvP nerfs, but if she is strong in PvP it doesn’t mean she is strong everywhere. right now she is trash in PvE, she is pure DPS char, since she got nothing beside damage, no buffs for party, no debuffs for bosses, but her damage… well, before that patch her skill damage was slightly higher, than RaS skill damage, now in not sure its still higher, since RaS got damage buff. even summon mechanic doesn’t work well, cause it doesn’t apply summon damage with every skill due to summon cooldown, so it doesn’t compensate low skill damage. and they keep ignore her in PvE, like DPS char with support-level damage its fine for them…

im just happy with my summon dmg buff. I’m also happy on that CU and CS buffs. Now there’s a very high chance that many eves on INT would bandwagon to them again, so excited to be rare CEs again.
I fail to see any reasons any CU or CS mains would bandwagon CEs. I mean, I don’t have anything against CEs, but she’s weak as hell. Everyone plays CU on NA. Who isn’t too strong either btw so yes, buffs are nice.
I think they should buff NI clearing at least, like sure absurde dmg on super big bosses, but thats it, he has nothing more going for him, like, they could at least make crows hit from the back and a little bit bigger.
