The only things in this post that interest me are the reforge changes, the title switch system, and the 3rd Job quest change. And I wanna get more details on the title switch before I decide if it’s worth using or not, as well as what titles to use with it if I do use it.
so basically only 3 out of 5 changes?

Also, I don’t know what TSS is, but I don’t really care for GoE, Eclipse, or Crest.
that is why they add the title switching switching mostly for the ones doing the Pruinaum for less effort of opening the charater screen but switching title is almost a must in raids for higher damage output and faster clearing, and some mechanics to clear the raids
meh, this doesn’t fix reforging, it is still too expensive and not viable for 95% of the players.
If you are new/returning player, don’t bother reforging, we got a weapon last year so this year is a new set, most likely with an even worse system than reforging.

ok but like how does this not fix reforging, R12 was cut in 1 third and R15 cut in half, click ED was also reduced, the only shit I can agree with is the durability system, otherwise your point is HELLA invalid, cuz how do you intend to get to Pruinaum and live with Elrianode gear ?XD
Did you do any of the math on how massive the nerf to the overall reforge cost is? Or can you not do simple math?
There are SO many people, both P2W and F2P who have reforge 12 which is considered the bare minimum required for endgame. You’re telling me you can’t get 1170 Amethysts which will only take 4 weeks and 2 days for a total of 295 clicks, and this is 295 clicks assuming worst case scenario?
Chlorites? Out of that 295, you get 100 clicks for free, so you only need to concern yourself with 195. If we assume 25m per chlorite on NA, 195 chlorites is ~4.87b. Do you not raid for mystics to sell? Do you not grind Rigomor? What are you even doing in game? Or are you a spar main?
The total number of amethysts needed has been HALVED from 27661 to 13602. That’s 2 years reduced to 1 year in total assuming that you pity bar all the way, which is unlikely to happen for all your pieces. With this new change, you’re guaranteed to get R21 in a year.
The raw ED needed has been reduced by ~30% from 3.8b to 2.6b. Magic Crystals are a non-issue as long as you’re playing the game. If you want to stop at R12, it’s 147.6m in total.
If you’re lazy to do it for whatever reason, just admit that you’re lazy. If you’re no longer enjoying the game, just admit that you’re not. Don’t mix your own personal bias with what is arguably the biggest QoL update we have gotten since Renewals.There is nobody putting a gun to your head forcing you to achieve X gear in Y time. The only reason people like you get frustrated is because you’re constantly thirsting for progress, wanting the gear but not even willing to put in the bare minimum effort. The response could have been worded better, but I think st0rmbreaK’s intent was merely to show that this improvement to Reforge was more significant than what E was making it out to be.
how do they fix Reforging then? because to me it just seems like ur just to lazy to actually grind and want everything to be as easy as a Ruben dungeon
The reforge changes are nice till stage 15… but there is still an issue with the reforge durability .
Would’ve been nice if they just removed that.
i think reforge durability is a good system, just make the seeds with higher durability recovery drop with higher chance. ERP 175 to 365, spamming in trosh nest so many times, but i only got two 5% seeds…
Agreed 100%, seeds need a higher drop rate.

If the seeds drop like candy then maybe otherwise no the reforge durability is just bad.

It’s not bad but it’s not enough, reforge ED cost should just be removed, cash shop item for durability as well LOL…
We just wanna feel rewarded for the time we spend on the game and not spend an absurd amount of money in all our procedures.

At this point just make a new gear PVE/PVP that we don’t have to farm everyday with a stupid amount of money.
People didn’t complain as much about needing gold stamps to trade unique el tears as they do with reforge now.
I agree though we need better pve methods to obtain chlorite seeds, current droprates for 5% are a joke.
pretty much the same tho,, but since chlorite is cheap and amethys is grindable they feel like doesnt need riot but its literally the same but worse
Elrianode was so fine, you weren’t forced to grind everyday and u felt rewarded for what u farmed…
Also, we didn’t have so many things to pay compared to nowadays (mclass things, el collec/synergy, boss access, more OP force skills etc.)

thats never gonna happen because thats how KOG gets their money. until a new region is released, Pruinaum’s CP requirements will not lower, and even then itll only be by a small increment as was the case w/ Varnimyr when Rigomor was released and Rigomor around the time of Pruinaum’s release. as much as it’s shooting them in the foot, KOG will never remove Demon Realm’s debuff bs nor lower the CP requirements to fair, manageable levels so casual players can actually progress because theyre greedy for money. maybe at first it truly was because they were stupid and careless, but, when they saw an influx in money since whales whaled harder and other players began spending money to progress because that was the only way they COULD progress, all they saw were dollar signs. now they may be desperately scrambling to win everyone’s attention back as players leave in droves, but they continue to play stupid by ignoring the true issue at hand because they dont want to lose their precious money

I reject your “never gonna happen”, though. We HAVE gotten story modes before, for both regular dungeons and raid dungeons.

Here’s the thing. Varnymir story mode didn’t allow you to get the Varnymir weapon until a long time after it came out. Plus, even after story mode gained the ability to drop the weapon, it really only meant one extra attempt per week to get the weapon before using reset tickets. They can do the same thing with the Pruinaum raid, so story mode happening is, in fact, completely possible.
most ppl didnt run the raid only little amount of ppl and they do it repeatly to get quest done

i was merely meaning it wont be within manageable levels, especially w/ the debuff for Varnimyr onwards. no matter what it’s going to be a pain in the arse and, even if they do make Story Mode and/or lower the CP, it wont make it any easier. youll likely still need to pour weeks upon weeks of grinding or use money to make any amount of progress

They could technically balance “Gear” in PvP by making it so you can only queue in Arena
with 5/5 Sparring Gear.
I mean, they already made it so you can’t move stuff around in your inventory or equip/change equipment while queuing so all they have to do now is only allow spar gear.
Then after that, they can balance the characters more properly since you can actually tell how broken a character is from just Ereda’s normalized stats.

theyre not wrong. if KOG just made arena sparring gear only and negate most titles, costumes and accessories, itd be as balanced as it gets
it’s not easy to balance MMOs. we should just be glad they removed items and have smaller variants of certain stages w/ all obstacles and pitfalls removed. the only way they can truly make pvp fair now is make gear sparring gear only and carry over the ability to negate titles, ElRes and costume bonuses from sparring to arena. by making arena sparring gear, mana necklace and that awakening ring thing (forgot the name x.x) only is the only way arena can be made remotely “balanced” at this point. the ability to have smaller stages and the removal of the items/buffs really helps, but ppl are still gear/title-carried
When will this patch be release in INT? Also the Part 1 QoL
