The counterattack stance only lasts for a brief moment before the skill simply continues as usual, though it can be useful when trading hits with opponents.
- Similarly to Counter Attack, it can be used to counter enemies during their getup attack after they were knocked down.
Holding the skill key does not increase the damage in any way, only giving you the counterattack effect.
- It does also provide you with a 100% chance to stun at [Enhanced] however.
This skill can be countered.
This skill has a lingering hitbox for as long as your fist is in the ground.
- The hitbox extends behind you and slightly above.

The tooltip of the skill on any server still mentions evasion, despite no enemies or players still possessing such a thing due to the stat being removed during the Item Options Revamp.
