Shared Debuff : Stun – Changed so it’s affected by ‘light’ attribute
Debuff : Slow – Changed so it’s affected by ‘Nature’ attribute

– Amongst the debuff effects, debuffs that are affected by [Nature] debuff are also applied towards non-damaging ‘slow debuff’

Detailed Skill grades – Detailed skill grades in the skill window. Easier to see which skilled are affected by skill rings or socket effects.
Skill Trait tooltip revamp – Tooltips for following traits show more detailed stats

Elsword Mega Slash – Maximum Charging time reduced. From 1 second to 0.5 second

Lord Knight
Armageddon Blade – ‘Way of the sword’ type changed from [Vitality] to [Destruction]
– ‘Evil’ trait removed. ‘Regenerating(1)’ trait added. ‘Regenerating(1)’ trait gives 15% chance of getting 50% of MP consumed back upon skill use.
Rolling Smash – ‘Absorbing’ trait removed ‘Critical’ trait added. ‘Critical’ Trait increases MP cost by 1.2x but ignores target’s defense.
Sandstorm – Fixed error of ‘first hit additional damage’ causing multi hits’
Gigantic Slash -Cast speed and motion revamped. Cast time greatly reduced.

Magic Knight
Sword Fire – Damage structure divided into ‘ground explosion’ and ‘rising flame’ parts. Each hitbox and damages are recalculated.
-Time taken for Initial skill motion and smashing down decreased
– ‘Absorbing’ > ‘Useful’. 1.5x more hits, -10% damage.
Explosive Fist -Changed to ‘can give additional damage after first hit’ structure. Damage and hitbox readjusted.
-Later multi hit amount increased.
-‘Empowered’ > ‘Powerful’. 1.5x cooldown, superarmor.
-‘Persistent’ > ‘Critical’. 1.2x MP cost, ignores defense.
Rune Slayer
Luna Blade – Damage structure changed into just 1 ‘Blade of moon’. Explosion changed to deal manaburn within certain radius.
– Mana burn amount decreased from 30% of max MP to 20% of max MP.
– Fixed issue of ‘Blade of moon’ moving through the map line.
Sheath Knight
Sword Fall – ‘Enhanced’ trait removed. ‘Heavier’ trait added. ‘Heavier’ trait increases damage by 1.4x, cooldown by 1.5x
Mirage Sting – ‘Absorbing’ trait removed. ‘Critical’ trait added. ‘Critical’ trait increases MP cost by 1.3x but ignores target’s defense.
Infinity Sword
Harsh Chaser – Revamped hit method to fix many errors and changed to pull targets more earlier

– ‘Haste’ trait removed. ‘Regenerating(1)’ trait added. ‘Regenerating(1)’ trait gives 50% chance of getting 100% of MP back upon skill use.

Phantom Sword – MP gain, attribute proc effects are added to ‘Phantom Sword’ hits but 50% effectiveness than original amounts.

– ‘Lighter’ trait’s MP cost decrease effect changed from 10% decrease to 20% decrease

Maelstrom Rage -Changed to ‘can give additional damage after first hit’ structure. Damage and hitbox readjusted.

-Duration reduced from 5.6s to 5s

-‘Lighter’ trait effect MP cost decrease changed from 10% decrease to 20% decrease.

-‘Persistent’ > ‘Evil’. Burns 2 MP per hit.

Aging – 20% cast speed

Hell Stone – Range increased by 20%

Void Princess
Plasma Cutter – 20% faster cast time
– Can cancel end motion with walk/backwalk/dash commands
Hell drop – ‘Gigantic’ > ‘Empowered’. 1.2x damage

Energy Discharge – Activation chance depending on awakening orb amount decreased from 50%/75%/100% to 25%/50%/100%
– Tooltip changed
Battle Magician Fitness – Physical attack KD reduction and MP gain on hit/getting hit increase feature removed.
– Max MP increase feature added. Increases 50/75/100/125 per level.
– Tooltip changes
Energy Drain – Fan shaped hit zone’s Up/Down/Depth angles increased by 10 degrees each.
– ‘Reversed’ > ‘Powerful’. Cooldown +1.5x, superarmor
– ‘Persistent’ trait’s kd reduction effect changed from 10 to 35

Magic Staff – Physical attack KD reduction and MP gain on hit/getting hit increase feature added.
– Physical attack kd reduction decreases 10%/20%/30% per level and doesn’t apply to special/hyper actives.
– Hit/getting hit MP increase gets increased by      2%/4%/6% per level.

Energy Spurt – Hit box changed to increase attack range
Rena Rail Stinger – Also pushes superarmor targets

Phoenix strike – Damage decrease rate enhanced to make minimum damage higher.

Swift Kicks – Added feature to add portion of magic attack towards physical attack. Physical attack increased by 3%/6%/9%/12% of magic attack per level.

– ‘Lighter’ trait’s MP cost decrease changed from 20% to 30%
Spiral Strike Tornado hit cast time decreased. Damage redistributed accordingly.
Sniping Ranger
Windward – Effect and hitbox moved more downwards
Shooting Magnum – ‘Lighter’ > ‘Powerful’. 1.5x cooldown, superarmor
Rapid Shot – Pushes superarmor targets as well

– ‘Enhanced’ > ‘Critical’. 1.5x MP cost but ignores defense

Grand Archer
Wind Blast – Duration after arrow is fired decreased from 10s to 5s
– Arrow homing speed decreased by 17%

Fatality – Last hit doesn’t knock down and pushes targets away.

Trapping Arrow – Fungus – MP cost changed from 200 to 150. Damage doesn’t change
Raven Maximum Cannon – ‘Enhanced’ > ‘Lighter’. MP cost -20%
Cannon Blade – ‘Absorbing’ > ‘Useful’. Hit amount +50%, Hit damage -20%

          He doesn’t really need a range nerf in PvP (because everyone is going to have one if LK have one and also because he can lack range sometimes but this really depends of the opponent in all honesty.)
          I just really don’t get it why they switched their “WoTS”.
          I feel like the Elsword representative player doesn’t like Elsword or something like that.
          But I don’t want to judge without some proofs.

          I can agree with Armageddon Blade’s switch. It’s a great buff, and 170(ish) MP was a little too cheap of a cost. LK players can still get it pretty easily with vit, and now the initial hit won’t take away half their vit gauge. It’s more of a trade than a nerf, in my opinion.

          The Double Slash change will have some interesting PvE side effects though. I’m also dissapointed Flame Geyser lost its light trait.

            I’m not sure to get your point. Arma Blade taking away the jauge wasn’t a problem at all, In fact, it was a powerful tool in dungeon and especially in raid boss. You just needed to know when to use it for make it worth to use it on the enemy or not (because you can also use Arma Blade without hitting the enemy if you don’t want to lose the vitality jauge)

I don’t really understand how it’s going to help LK’s current gameplay in all the PvE content (especially Raid Boss).

            On the flip side, that Regenerating Attribute is a good trade-off. Sure, you’ll have to use more mana to activate Armageddon Blade but, you can get 125 mana back if the 15% proc activates. And you can also use Double Slash to finish your combo much more easily. Much more if you plan to use both on a single long combo.

      Uh, this is probably the best way to handle Armageddon blade. As it is, it’s NOT hard to get Armageddon blade out once you’re in vitality mode, and with the current socket set ups it’s even easier to get in it. No one wants a range nerd on Arma since that takes from its benefits and no one wants it’s duration to be decreased either. So hitting what makes it insanely strong and clock able is perfectly justified. Armageddon blade was made as a, “you’re stomping them keep it up!!!” Or “they’re stomping you, but hold on tight!!!” Kind of thing. Having it up quarter way in the match, then for the rest of the match is kinda not cool.

      When I saw that switch, a huge chunk of me died inside. Because that was one of the best counters for an annoying opponent in pvp. Just switch on vitality, get a cheap arma blade.

      Double slash does so many hits, it’ll probably eat up all of vitality mode…….Makes me so sad.

      On the plus side, they finally gave CR and WS more physical attack.

    I would love it if they would change RF’s hedgehog to not knockdown and put heavy stun on it, there are so many other skills out there that do the same exact thing but they don’t knockdown at the end.

    And before anyone says “In awk mode the core stops them from getting kicked down”, I already know that and it’s ridiculous that I would have to rely on being in awakening mode for a skill to work.

    Yes, I know outside of awk it is still a good skill to use to do quick damage, but in comparison to skills just like it (in the sense that it is an quick AoE skill) it really sucks. At least allow RF to move after using it the same way Add can use a skill like Moonlight Rhapsody and then attack literally right after the hit

            How the hell ppl can’t be in perma Eun at PvE? It’s like a must regarding benefits of it, and now easier to get with the revamped RoF.

            As for me I can’t imagine Ara running out of orbs except with Descent Dragon, Supresion/Kite, Resurrection or Fox Fire spamming. I’m most of the time with at least 5-6 orbs even without using Eun, Yama has Conversion actives and Asura can use Fox Meal + Gain Force on a target to recover so I don’t see the problem.

            About charging 3rd bead… I have +12 weapon so at normal dungeons even with 126s Eun duration I can’t reach 3rd bead before it runs out (lack of Awk. charge) but I don’t need it that much.

        The new trend is that they use a class as a punching bag for a while, eventually buff them, then switch targets.

        It started with NW. She was neigh worthless upon initial release. But then the ST Revamp majorly buffed her and CN was demoted to the bottom. (Although she was gimped ever since Season 2 gutted Iron Scraps. Mana Conversion + deadly Iron Scraps made her a force to be reckoned with back in Season 1.) She suffered years of abuse. But then they eventually buffed her and then DW became the new punching bag. She came out of her renewal weaker than she already was! (RNG passive aside.) But now her time for buffs has come and now it’s LK’s turn.

        …..But here’s the thing: LK’s already paid his dues. Before NW was added to the game, he was the one at the bottom. Poor catching game, no range, etc. Granted, the gap between him and the best class (VP) wasn’t nearly as big as the worst class to best class gap that exists in Neo-Elsword.

        But LK has always been towards the bottom for the very reason he has been ever since 2nd Job advancements were first added. SK was a top class, but he got left in the dust as everyone else got much better toys from 2nd Job advancement. (HM and CR were the worst 1st Jobs. Look at them now.)

        And to make matters worse, there is now a literal female LK who is better than him in every way….. (Granted the newer characters are all bad news for LK. Ara has bigger hitboxes and better mobility. Elbrat has no viable way to fight against Add. etc.)

        But this COULD be the sign that LK is finally about to receive some buffs.

        I can tell you who the next punching bag is though: BM. Been in a similar situation to LK all this time. AND he just got nerfed too!

Then you Buff what’s already OP. I can totally see false data being given cause some of us clock +11-12 thus not actually being OP. But still this just looks like a mess. Also the Ara system change is fine. If Luciel used to be able to get combination gauge from not hitting anything why should Ara be allowed to get orbs from canceling off nothing. Finally while Nerfing ROF is the only nice thing about all of this we shouldn’t just settle for half a bead we should complain until it gives no bead and just raw 20% awakening charge.

    Best to go back to Season 3, all Elsboys are getting nerfed , Runic seems ta paper and without harm . Fire fist was useless , Insurgent ta with mto low damage and giving a lot of mana to the enemy, the only the least was the Lord and you it seems as nerfando it , revise it to, and around the damage the fire handle more note had more hits, it increases gain mana of Els because ta hard outside Paladino tBM decreases gain mana, only buffa aisha and raven reindeer !

      It’s just LK that’s getting nerfed. IS is getting buffed, RS…. I don’t even agree with the slightest buff he got. Though a return of useful sword fire is a nice addition because absorbing was useless mho when you have an absorbing, and critcal sword fire which ignores defense. Obviously you’re going for the critical sword fire. Luna blade got a needed fix where it would just go through the map, which is the main reason why not a lot of RS’ even use Luna Blade. Critical Explosive fist….. Just no. Critical Flame geyser which I’m going to like a lot, and the fact it’s a multi-hit and ignores defense, RS makes the use out of that with critical sword. Imagine using something like the Dragonic-Force set, awaken+destruction+Crit Sword+Critical Flame Geyser. PvE wise that is going to shred, same would go for explosive fist, so no he is not getting a nerf, in a nutshell, 1 class is getting buffed, 1 class is getting a unnecessary buff, the other is getting a unnecessary nerf.

    Why are they not doing anything about Shade illusion (having to use 300mp all up for average damage on Dread weapon) or Burning Phantom (nerfed to hell damage/suction + access to heal which she DOES NOT need anymore because of how much she heals already + the want to be below 75% HP)

    i know there are skills like this on other characters but i dont know much about others or id write a whole list

    And TT. People are like: nerf siege nerf siege. TT without siege is a base chung. If siege gets nerfed, he has to get new combos.

      I think the issue is more of the utility. Whle Rena’s Siege mode works almost exactly the same, no one is complaining about it. Why? Because TT also gets that accursed air support that is almost impossible to get out of. He also has Big Bang Stram which lets him mount a ton of hit-stun, putting anyone he’s facing in a manbreak-or-die loop.

      agreed….i have tried all of chung’s jobs….on a single char using the events to change classes…….although i disagree that DC is stronger than IP in PvP because “WANDAHHH WOLLL” and the fact that most if not all of his basic combos apply super armor which almost negates DC’s >>zx spam damage….but nerfing his metabolic boost made him very underpowered… right now I’m using TT and when I saw that “dread chase”=ignores defense i was like……bruh…..bruh……on it’s own it takes away almost 25% of enemy’s health on PvP…what more if it ignores defense….also i hate those people saying that his siege is OP like dude….it’s his primary damage-dealing combo and most of his combos end up in siege mode… it’s like telling GA to stop shooting arrows and just use kick until the end….XD…

      overall:

      IP= a rapidly dying job because of nerfs
      DC= PvE, god of dps, god of elemental effects and “percent chance”
      TT= for making PvE bosses look like peasants with his missile shower that ignores defenses and chaos cannon that is just…..wooooooohhhh!!!

    I see many people here angry about what they’re seeing here. Kog already said that the former renewals were based on PVP, but now they’re reworking them on the direction of PVE.

    Elsword ISN’T ONLY PVP, is also PVE. There is people that loves PVP and hates PVE, and people that loves PVE that hates PVP. If KoG keeps changing the skills for PVP, the ones that does PVE will be feel offended and excluded in my opinion.

    everyone says its a buff, but at least from what i’ve seen on VP, she always gets more nerf that buff, and EVERYTIME SHE GETS A BUFF ITS A SKILL NO ONE USES. If u wanna make VP a popular or fair character there are 3 things u need 2 do.
    1.FIX HITBOXES, cuz NO ONE CAN USE Z COMBOS IN PVP
    2.MAKE APPEALING COMBOS, cuz she got the most horrible stuff from renewals, in terms of quality and quantity.
    3.MAKE SKILLS THAT ARE BALANCED COMAPRING TO OTHER CHARACTERS, cuz no one uses aging, plasma dmg is quite low, dark cloud dmg is literally nothing, hell stone and blinding circle mana cost is ridiculous, death field range is tiny, hyper is killed by skill frame freeze, breathing lasts nothing, there is no use 4 chain burst, petite angkor is too slow 2 continue a combo (if a VP dares to try a combo), and i can continue all day but u understand.
    Even hell drop got no use since lost mana break cancel in this patch.
    So more than a buff they literally killed her (especially her mana gain with passive, that IS NEEDED SINCE WE WASTE A LOT 4 DMG).
    at least this is my experience from NA server, when lag makes instant win for the person whose character got better hitstun and hitbox.

    on the other side teleport is finally fair, nice job.

  • Am I the only one who feels like Add is catching a LOT of hell? I main Add, Chung, and Raven and I do agree that Add is the strongest, most broken, etc. but he DOES take skill to be good at. The thing that makes everyone hate him is that each class had a gimmick that made it SSSUPER easy to kick ass i.e. LP’s DP combos, MM’s phantom seeker, DiE’s EVERYTHING, etc. But now it went into an “Add in general” thing. Add needs to be strategized in order to be respectable, but yet you can still get cursed out for “spamming” (aka. using low MP skills in a combo like a normal person). In comparison to DC, which is basically the ignored Chung child, I find it easy to beat Adds. And with all the patches being tiny little STABS TO ADD’S HEART really want Add mains to work for it.

    First of all ty all the EM for trolling. As a gift here grab some buffs to troll more :)
    Secondly raven dmg is too low, RF deals 0 dmg and VC ignition crow, deals like ignition fly. So we are going to buff the dmg to literally destroy ur pc with ur own hands :)
    In the end lets nerf ara (SD) cuz this guy who is writing mains ara. So that he would pay 30€ to change to asura. Bless u kog, for buffing elesis, since she was/Is S tier, and lets make her God tier.

      When they first announced Elesis by plastering her all over the front page, that was the first sign. The ST Revamp was the first cannonball to breach the hull which led to the smart ones to rush for the lifeboats. Then Elesis was the iceberg that tore the ship in half.

    I’m going to be completely honest here about these changes, but I’ll only mention the changes for the characters that I personally play.
    RS: Meh…not really buffs to be honest. More like tradeoffs.
    VP: They keep throwing her down a hellhole to becoming the worst Aisha class in existance. KOG fuck you.
    ST: Fair changes.
    GrM: Kinda got slightly nerfed to be honest, but like, nothing that’ll change her gameplay. The superarmour buffs are good though, because SA should be active for said moves that got it the entire time.
