Tips and Details

Transforming between G-Skill Mode system puts every currently equipped G-Skill on a 1-second cooldown, except the one that is being transformed to, which can be cast half a second after transforming.
- You cannot switch while midair or casting skills, but you can switch while running.
- The switching does not provide any kind of Super Armor or invincibility during casting, thus being easily interruptible. However, the buffs will always apply, even if interrupted.
- The motion does not have any time stop and is the same for all skills except G-Ex Ancient Buster that also has freeze frames.
You will obtain one stack of G-Extension upon transforming between G-skills, or when casting a G-skill.
Due to the G-Extension buff's short duration, it can expire during cutscenes. To maximize its duration, it is recommended to switch the G-Skill Mode right before one.
- - However, this might be confusing if you don't remember which skill you are currently switched to, but you can't see your skill or buff bar anymore. The safest technique to refresh the buff is to trigger a skill that allows you to switch right after casting, such as [Mod] G-1 Corona or [Mod] G-2 Rolling Thunder.
The Transform Standby attack of each G-Skill will also trigger Howl in Altar of Invocation's first two phases if the respective skill tier is currently blocked, so use it with caution.
- This also applies to G-3 Raptor (Mod), which however is an Active skill rather than a Special Active, so it is never blocked. It is recommended to use this skill's Transform Standby to initialize your passives in order to avoid extra Howl patterns.

This skill is based on DFO's Female Mechanic passive G-Extension, although the Elsword version includes many additional benefits.
