The exploding flames will hit enemies the moment they start traveling forward after being summoned, even behind you.
Since the flames first converge in front of you before spreading apart, the skill has no issue dealing full hits on most enemies nearby.
- Enemies behind you and too far ahead may only be hit by one of the three flames, however.
The flames can travel a reasonable amount outside the screen, making the skill a viable option for clearing lines of enemies.
Only your initial casting animation is affected by action speed; the fire balls will always spawn and launch at the same speed.
The fireballs are unable to follow paths.

Between its initial release and the 07/18/2019 KR Patch, Circle Flame was an Active skill that summoned three fireballs that rotated vertically around you. This skill used to be affected by High Magician's Freezing Point Investigation, turning the fireballs into ice balls.
