Sunken Resiam

The Submerged Area of Resiam

The knights of Hamel tried to hold back the intruding monsters, but it eventually fell into the hands of darkness. On top of that, it sunk due to the El going out of control. One will face the forces of darkness and the angered water spirits.

An oxygen gauge must be attended to, to make sure one has sufficient oxygen. Oxygen can be refilled and high-jumps can be made at bubbling areas of the dungeon.

Mobs

Piranha: A school of fish that float around and can attack you, but are rather weak and slow moving.
Ancient Crab: Uses similar animations to the scorpions in Bethma. Can form a shield with its claws.
Deep Sea Fish: A large fish that hides underwater, showing only a glowing yellow orb. This fish will surprise attack you if you go too close.
Merman: Holds a fish and whacks you with it.
Lagus: A mermaid. Has similar animations to the Kenaz in Velder. Explodes a bubbly aura when it dies and traps you in a bubble.
Is: A mermaid. Has similar animations to the Kenaz in Velder. Explodes a cold aura when it dies which can freeze you.

Obstacles

Poisonous Mistletoe: These things spew out poisonous gas at intervals which can poison you. It hangs from a ceiling.
Piranha House: Summons Piranhas.

Aid

Bubble Vent: This vent spews bubbles that replenishes your oxygen gauge.

Boss: Coral Sea Serpent

The Coral Sea Serpent

A disturbed water spirit induced by the El. It takes the form of both a fish and snake with strong spitting capabilities.

You have to fight two of these bosses at the same time.

Moves

Poison Spit: Rains poison down on you. Induces Poisoning (see Status Effects).

Head Smash: The Coral Serpent raises its head upwards and smashes it down. Induces Stun to itself and Flattening to you (see Status Effects). Can be avoided by jumping up and letting the fish smash its head.

  • It is spread out and highly vulnerable to AOE skills after this attack.


Switch: The Serpent switches its position by swimming away.

Diving Slam: Swims away from the map and into the background. From there, it swims upwards and smashes down on you. The attack does a large amount of damage but induces Stun (see Status Effects) to itself.

Frost Breath: The Serpent sucks up the water around it, causing you to be dragged in as well. Then, it fires a laser beam at the ground at an angle and moves it forward. Induces Frostbite (see Status Effects) while doing extreme damage.

  • While both charging and firing its laser it will have 50% damage reduction.
  • When charging its laser, Actives and Special Actives are disabled for everyone.


Hydro Cannon: The Serpent(s) swim out of the stage and into the background. From there, it begins sucking up the water around it with you being dragged in too. Finally, it releases a powerful stream of water to the area in front of it. This attack does substantial damage and induces Frostbite (see Status Effects). Can be avoided by sticking to one of the edges/corners of the map.
