- This skill can be used on the ground as well as in the air.
- It is best to use this on opponents that are grounded in order to get the most damage out of it, though it's even better if they're stoic and grounded; but you could use it on a target that's just been slightly lifted as the Javelin hits will push them to the ground, but if used while they are highly airborne, they may avoid some of the explosive damage.
- Very effective on bosses that cover a large horizontal areas, such as the Nasod Inspector (2-x), the Ancient Bone Dragon (3-x) and the Coral Sea Serpent (6-3).
