Background
Kurov is a retired Steel Lava Scout. Initially forced into the job by the commanders of the Dark-Eyed Army, he reluctantly hung around mission locations while hoping other scouts would handle the situation. While in the Collapsing Temple of Fire, however, the El Search party easily overpowered the rest of the members of his squadron, and he was knocked unconcious without a second thought.
After awakening, he realized that with the rest of his squad too, he could easily leave under the guise that he'd died along with them. He now resides in Altera, frequently hanging around the Ponggo's Hideout.
