Skill Note

A bow is nothing without the proper adjustment of the its string. The more you use it the loose the strings become. Maintain the bowstring and you can fire arrows faster.
- Proxy

Name: Bow String Maintenance(NA) / Special Treatment of the String (스트링 특수 처리법) (KR)

Description: "Arrows shot during Siege Mode will have the cooldown decreased by 30%."

  • This means that your shots will be 30% faster.
  • This is separate from Siege Mode's cooldown time and has no relation to that.


Tips and Details

  • Elemental enchantments on weapons will activate at a much lower rate from siege arrows. (roughly 1/3 of normal)
  • Siege will consume 2 MP per second when left active without firing.
  • If a target is in range, X attacks will be aimed toward them when fired.
    • Arrows will also aim at targets that are in range and below you by 1 platform.
  • If you get hit during siege stance, no cooldown will occur.
  • Pressing Siege the first time does not give it a cooldown, you can actually press it again before its cooldown starts
  • Highest number of possible attacks before cooldown occurs is 9. This is done by doing 4 attacks (Z and\or X) then pressing the Siege key again for 5 extra attacks
    • This has a damage output of 3672% for 126 mp with Z attacks and 5985% for 171 mp with X attacks.


Trivia

  • In NA, this move has been extended and renamed to Siege Mode.


Updates

    • Both Z and X shots naturally pierce once allowing them to hit two targets.
    • All passives now apply to Siege X, not just Siege Swift.
    • Entering and staying in Siege stance from one of Sniping Ranger's combos now consumes 2 MP per second as per normal activation.

    • Knockback force from Siege Z reduced.
