El Essences are items required for the use of all Hyper Actives. Every time you use a Hyper Active, 1 Essence will be consumed.

How To Obtain

El Essences can be obtain by right clicking any El Shards except Mystery. One El Shard will yield three El Essences.

Tips and Details

If your Hyper Active skill gets interrupted or cancelled, an El Essence will still be consumed.
An Essence will not be consumed when using Hyper Actives in the Training Room. They will, however, be consumed when using Hyper Actives in dungeons, fields, sparring, or Arena.

Trivia

In NA, this item's name is extended to El's Essence.
