Điều này nâng tiềm năng cận chiến của anh ấy lên rất cao so với hầu hết các nhân vật , có nhiều khả năng như một sự bù đắp khi anh ấy không có khả năng tấn công bằng phép thuật . Anh ấy cũng có khả năng giảm lượng MP cần thiết cho các kĩ năng chủ động đặc biệt bằng các kĩ năng nội tại, Fighting Spirit sự di chuyển và tăng damage với các kĩ năng nội tại, Lightning Surge.
               

Bối cảnh

Qua nhiều thử thách ở các vùng đất khi còn là Sheath Knight, Elsword chứng kiến việc bao kiếm Conwell nhận năng lượng El bóng tối từ những con quái vật mà anh đã đối mặt. Điều này khiến anh gặp khó khăn và anh đã phải bàn bạc với linh hồn của Conwell về việc làm sao đề ngăn chặn sự ô nhiễm—Conwell phải hấp thụ năng lượng El bóng tối và truyền nó qua cho Elsword.

Linh hồn đã khuyến cáo Elsword rằng cách làm này sẽ làm rối loạn bóng tối trong tim anh, trừ khi anh có thể chinh phục được nó bằng sức mạnh của mình. Sự tự tin của anh chàng tóc đỏ không hề bị lay chuyển bởi thử thách phía trước, và anh để cho Conwell làm những gì cần phải làm. Sau đó, năng lượng El bỏng tối thay đổi cả 2 người họ trong mặt kỹ năng, tăng sức mạnh cho Elsword—bây giờ được biết đến với cái tên Infinity Sword—để có thể tăng số lượng bao kiếm và gọi ra vô số thanh kiếm trong trận chiến.

Thăng cấp nhân vật lần 2

Tại Lv35, Sheath Knight có thể thăng cấp thành Infinity Sword. Nhận nhiệm vụ thăng cấp nhân vật lần hai ở Ariel, NPC sự kiện ở mỗi thành . .
Infinity Sword Có thể thăng cấp lên Infinity Sword bằng cách sử dụng vật phẩm: Dark Elshard Fragment.

Infinity Sword

1. Speak with Altera Pongo Elder Adel.
2. Collect 30 Nasod Chips from any Nasod throughout the Altera region.
   • Recommended to run Return Plains.
3. Defeat:
   • Crow Rider 3 times in Nasod Foundry on any difficulty.
   • King Nasod 3 times in Altera Core on any difficulty.
4. Speak with Lento in Feita.
5. Collect 10 Drops from Glitter monsters in Feita.
   • Recommended to run Underground Chapel.

Oddly, Conwell does not emerge from its sheath in this combo, rather it simply appears out of thin air. File:ISCombo2s.png	Sword Chase After launching his target into the air, Elsword quickly shoots out multiple Conwells hitting his target. He ends this combo with a single whirlwind slash with his sword and Conwell. Infinity Sword's Sword Chase actually reaches across your screen for the 2nd and 3rd X. The combo, although it has massive range, has a large dependency on attack speed because of how slow it is. This Combo also requires good perspective of aiming against smaller flying enemies, such as Wyverns or Stone Gargoyles. The player needs to do the first X slightly left/right of under the target for the actual Sword Chase to hit the target.	100% Phy. Damage 100% Phy. Damage (x3) 75% Phy. Damage (x4)

Trivia

• Infinity Sword is Elsword's job branch to follow the Transform theme; a desperate act done in order gain a tremendous boost in power.
  • In an attempt to save his friends, Elsword absorbed the Dark El, risking his sanity to increase his strength.
    • A common misconception is that Infinity Sword is corrupted due to absorbing the Dark El, however he still retains most of his personality.
• According to the official manhwa, "Blade Works", Elsword's head was bleeding when he absorbed the Dark El, which caused his blood to turn black and in turn taint the side of his hair.
• Upon advancing to Infinity Sword, Elsword's eyes in-game change to a sharper expression.
• Infinity Sword is the first character able to inflict bleed passively.
