Skill Quest Guide
When advancing to your 1st or 2nd Job advancement, you will notice several skills with a padlock symbol on it. These skills are called Locked Skills. Normally you cannot upgrade nor obtain that certain skill. In order to unlock a Locked Skill, you must need to complete a series of 5 quests for each skill. Once completed, you can unlock the skill and add Skill Points to it.
An alternative to unlocking a Locked Skill can be buying it from the Item Mall. You will automatically unlock the skill but they can only be bought separately. There are NO skills that are cash-exclusive, cash is simply an optional method to skip these Quests.
The Quests can be soloed, but it is heavily recommended doing these quests in a party as it is easier, takes less time, and consumes less stamina. ALL of the skill quests involve drops that are obtained randomly, meaning that it can take a while.
The Skill Quests are also the same for all classes.
Active Skill (Level Requirement: 20)
- Quest 1: Buy one Basic Training Application from Camilla for 20,000 ED.
- Quest 2: Collect 2 Pincers from the Scorpion King (Miniboss) in 3-1 on Very Hard (☆☆☆).
- Quest 3: Obtain 20 Cat's Necklaces from any Lizardman in Bethma.
- Quest 4: Collect 30 Nasod Fragments from the Nasod Race in Altera.
- Quest 5: Find 1 Secret Book of Liberation from the Kayak the Shaman in 3-4 on Hard(☆☆) and above.
200MP Skill (Level Requirement: 30)
- Quest 1: Buy one Intermediate Training Application from Camilla for 100,000 ED.
- Quest 2: Collect 10 Black Crow Battle Textbooks from the Black Crow Soldiers in Altera (4-1 is Recommended)
- Quest 3: Obtain 1 Improved Nasod Control Chip, 1 Improved Nasod Control Plant, and 50 Improved Nasod Components from any Nasod in 4-2 on any difficulty.
- Quest 4: Collect 2 Ignis and Leviathan's Core from Ignis or Leviathan (Boss) in 4-4 and 4 Samples of Nasod Components from the Crow Rider (Boss) in 4-5
- Quest 5: Complete 4-1, 4-2, and 4-3 on Hard or above with a rank of B or higher.
250MP/300MP Skill (Level Requirement: 32)
- Quest 1: Buy one Advanced Training Application from Camilla for 140,000 ED.
- Quest 2: Collect 50 Recruit Badges from 4-3 on any difficulty.
- Quest 3: Obtain 2 Burning Power Cores from Ignis (Boss) and 2 Frozen Power Cores from Leviathan (Boss) in 4-4.
- Quest 4: Collect 3 drops from the Parasitic Flower Alterasia Port (Boss) in 4-3 on Very Hard (☆☆☆).
- Quest 5: Complete 4-4 on Any Difficulty within 8 minutes, 4-5 on Any Difficulty within 8 minutes, and 4-6 on Any Difficulty in 9 minutes (8 minutes in EU Server).
Passive Skill (Level Requirement: 40)
- Quest 1: Buy one Expert Training Application from Camilla for 300,000 ED.
- Quest 2: Collect 50 Nasod Battle Notes from the enemies in 4-6.
- Quest 3: Obtain 4 Demon's Spell from Amethyst (Boss) in 3x-3 on any difficulty.
- Recommended Normal mode (☆) bottom path for Stamina Saving.
- Level requirement of 41 to receive quest.
- Quest 4: Obtain 3 item from Cutter Sark (Boss) in 3x-5 on Very Hard (☆☆☆).
- Level requirement of 42 to receive quest.
- Quest 5: Complete 3x-3 on Very Hard within 6 minutes, 3x-5 on Very Hard within 8 minutes, and 3x-6 on Very Hard within 8 minutes.
- Level requirement of 43 to receive quest.
Note:Only 2nd job class obtain this quest
