Skill notes are various "notes" that can be used to permanently enhance the ability of a particular skill. In order to use skill note, you will need to have completed the Skill Book quest from Ariel, or buy the cash Skill Book from the cash shop. There are 2 types of Skill Notes: Special Skill Notes and Active Skill Notes. There are also Cash Notes of each respective type which cost money to purchase.

Special Active Skill Notes

As a monster drop


Special Actives Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Special Actives, and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These skill notes tend to be valued highly in the market, due to the usefulness of the characteristics they grant.

Active Skill Notes

Active Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Actives and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These notes, too, tend to be fairly expensive in the market.

*Notes obtained through quests or the Cash Shop are untradeable. Cash Skill Notes however can be sent as Gifts in some versions of Elsword.

  • If you finished a Skill Note quest, and have thrown away the note or replaced the skill book slot with a new note, you can re-obtain the note by simply doing a quest that only requires you to talk to the corresponding NPC.

Skill Book Quest

Speak to Ariel when you are Lv. 20 and accept the Skill Book quest (As an alternative, you can buy the Skill Book from the Cash Shop)

Step 1: Complete 3-1 and 3-2 on Very Hard mode.

Step 2: Collect 20 Fine Leathers (from the Fire Komodos in the Bethma Region) and 4 Bethma Native Dyestuffs.

Note: 1.Fire Komodos spawn in [Bethma Lake (Night)] and [Dragon Nest] 2.The chance to get Fine Leathers is 1-4 per dungeon.it is very hard so better party in dungeon than solo


Skill Notes Quest

Bethma Blacksmith, Toma

This quest will be unlocked after you achieve Level 25.

  • Step 1:
    • Collect 100 High Quality Iron Ores from Nasods in 3-5.
    • Collect 20 Zinc Fragments from Nasod Transporters in 3-5.
  • Step 2: Destroy 8 Mines in 3-5.

Camilla, the PvP NPC

This quest will be unlocked after you achieve Level 30.

  • Step 1: Clear 4-1 on Very Hard under 8 minutes.
  • Step 2: Defeat 35 Nasod Scouts Type-L and 5 Corrupt Nasod Drillers in 4-2.
  • Step 3: Collect 4 Nasod Cores from Ignis or Leviathan in 4-4.

Skill Note Name: Swift Foot Stance / (넓은 보법에 대한 조언)
Adds 3 more hits to the skill, and makes the hits 50% faster and further. 		Complete Skill Note Quest from Bethma Blacksmith, Toma.

Kick Damagex4 		Complete Quest from Camilla, the PvP woman.
Skill Note Name: A Man's Retreat / (남자는 물러설 때를 안다)
If the skill missed at the first hit, the skill will be canceled immediately and Elsword will recover 50% MP. After the first hit damage will increase by 20% and the skill can not be mana broken from there on. 		From monster drop
Skill Note Name: Lava Gusher / (용암 분출)
Increases the height and width of Flame Geyser's fire by 20%. Target will also burn for 10 seconds.

Skill Note Name: Mind & Body Technique / (긴장된 호흡과 강화 유지법)
Decreases cooldown by 5 seconds, your damage increases by 10%.

Sword Knight

Increases the chance of successful break by 20%. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Endless Beat Down / (끝없는 공격 그 이론과 실재)
Decreases the knockdown counter and has a 10% critical hit rate increase. 		From Cash Shop

Level Req: 25
First hit has increased range and stuns for two seconds which places the opponent in an optimal position. 		From Cash Shop


Magic Knight

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Skill Note Name: Undying Flame / (꺼지지 않는 불길)
Increased explosion time by 0.3 seconds and increased maximum amount of hits by 5 when hitting 2 targets above. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Soul Ripper / (영혼 파괴)
Reduces targets' MP by 50 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Quantitative Improvement Ⅰ / (양적 향상에 대한 생각)
Increases the hit count of each blade by two (totaling up to six hits per blade) and adds one additional blade to each side (total of six blades) 		From Cash Shop


Sheath Knight

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Skill Note Name: Piercing Sword / (꿰뚫는 검)
50% to do a Leg Wound debuff to targets for 5 seconds. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Fatal Strike / (치명적인 일격)
50% chance to deal 20% more damage which also ignores defenses for the final slash. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Knife Rain / (칼의 비)
Doubles the amount of blades. Each knife deals only 60% of the original damage. This skill note also condense the knives making the horizontal range of this skill shorter. 		From Cash Shop
