Las "notas" son objetos especiales que pueden ser usados para mejorar una determinada habilidad permanentemente. Para poder usarlas debes tener en tu inventario el "Cuaderno de técnicas," que se obtiene completado las misiones que te da Aranca o comprándolo directamente de la Tienda de objetos.
Hay dos tipos de notas: Notas para habilidades activas y Notas para habilidades especiales activas, todas coloreadas con el color correspondiente de cada personaje.

Notas de habilidades activas

Todas ellas pueden ser obtenidas a través de misiones, eventos, dropeo de monstruos o en la tienda de objetos. Muchas tienden a venderse por un alto precio en el tablón.
Las notas que se obtienen por misiones o en la tienda de objetos no se pueden comerciar, sin embargo, en algunas versiones de Elsword, estas últimas pueden ser mandadas como regalo.
Si por algún motivo pierdes una nota que obtuviste al cumplir una misión, puedes obtenerla de nuevo solicitando la misión con el NPC correspondiente.

Misiones:

Al llegar al nivel 20, habla con Aranca y acepta la misión del Libro de técnicas

1. Completa 3-1 y 3-2 en Experto.

1. Recolecta 20 "cuero de gran calidad" (de los Komodos de fuego en las regiones de Besma) y 4 Tintes de los nativos de Besma.

• Puedes obtener de 1 a 6 cueros de gran calidad por recorrido de escenario, sin embargo es bien difícil llegar a obtener 5 o 6 cueros. Si el juego se pone maloso y no te está dando ningún cuero de gran calidad, cierra el juego y vuelve a entrar.

El Libro de Técnicas consta de 6 espacios para colocar notas, los cuales de desbloquean cada 10 niveles a partir del nivel 20.

Besma

Debes alcanzar el nivel 25.

• Paso 1:
  • Recolecta 100 Minerales de gran calidad de los nasod en 3-5.
  • Recolecta 20 Fragmentos de Zinc de los Transportadores nasod en 3-5.
• Paso 2: Destruye 8 minas en 3-5.

Camilla

Debes alcanzar el nivel 30.

• Paso 1: Completa 4-1 en Experto en menos de 8 minutos.
• Paso 2: Mata a 35 Exploradores nasod tipo-L y 5 Perforadoras nasod corrompidas en 4-2.
• Paso 3: Recolecta 4 Núcleos nasod de Ignis o Leviatan en 4-4.
