With every fight, Raven's Nasod Arm reaches new limits to its powers. Though Raven gets stronger and stronger, he realizes that the Nasod Arm will soon make him reach insanity. To overcome this, he made a request to the mechanic of the Ponggos to make a "Rage Preventer" to keep his personality in-check and at the same time allow his Nasod Arm to get stronger.
Raven has chosen the path to master his Nasod arm and keep it from controlling his sanity. He trains his body to the limit and focuses on pure brute attacks from his Nasod arm. He is able to infuse his Nasod arm with the power of El to deliver blows so massive that even King Nasod himself would kneel. Yet his body has reached the limit - he could no longer control his sanity. The Nasod arm was stronger, and it overpowered his will by releasing his rage. The aid of the Ponggo's mechanic appeared and attached a device to Raven's Nasod arm to help him channel his rage into controlled power. As a result, he was able to overtake the Nasod arm's power and control it for his own good purpose. Hence, the name Over Taker came about.
However, Raven knows that he still could not last for long... Though his body becomes stronger than that of a normal human being, he could potentially lose control from the overwhelming power of the Nasod Arm.
Thus, Raven, by choosing this method of fighting, was named the "Over Taker".
