Specialty

Rena is a marksman with ranged weapons but can call on the elements to fuel her magic attacks as well. When cornered though, she has no problem striking enemies with her awesome kicks. She also has the ability to seemingly fly through the air with her double jump.

Background

Rena is an elf living in the mortal world. Her place in this world is jeopardized by the weakening of El, the power gems that energize everything including the connection to her home world. If this power fades the ties that bind the two planes will vanish as will Rena herself. She uses her abilities as a Ranger to protect the El and her friends.

First Class Advancement

Rena is required to be Lv15 to begin her first class advancement.

Ranger

1. Defeat Willam (Boss) 2 times at the Suburbs of Wally's Castle on any difficulty. Then talk to Ruichel for the second mission.
   
2. • Collect 10 drop from the black bats in Banthus Cave on any difficulty (This isnt quest item so maybe you'll have this before do quest).
     
   • Collect 10 drop from Mickey in the Underground Waterway on any difficulty. Then talk to Ruichel again for the third mission.
     
3. Speak to Hoffman , the mayor of Elder. Talk to him again for the fourth and final mission.
   
4. Eliminate 15 Wisps at Shadow Forest on any difficulty.
   

After completing the Ranger quest chain, Rena can decide between advancing as Sniping Ranger or Combat Ranger.

Sniping Ranger

Talk to Hoffman for the Sniping Ranger mission.

1. Talk to Lenphad, make sure to speak to him again for the second mission.
   
2. Collect 2 drops from the Crossbow Soldiers at Wally's Castle on any difficulty. Go back and talk to Lenphad for the third mission.
   
3. Eliminate 6 poison Mushus at Shadow Forest on Normal Difficulty (☆). Go and talk to Ruichel for the next mission.
   
4. • Clear Wally's Castle on Very Hard mode (☆☆☆) with at least a B rank.
     
   • Clear Suburbs of Wally's Castle on Very Hard mode (☆☆☆) with at least a B rank.
     

At Lv35, Sniping Ranger can advance into Grand Archer

Combat Ranger

1. Talk to Luchiel in Elder
2. • Kill 8 Giant Brother at 2-2 on any difficult.
     
   • Kill 1 Bats King at 2-2 on Hard or Very Hard mode.
     
3. Clear 2-6 on Normal Mode within 8 minutes .
   
4. • Clear 2-6 on Any mode or above with at least a B rank.
     
   • Clear 2-5 on Any Hard mode or above with at least a B rank.
     

At Lv35, Combat Ranger can advance into Wind Sneaker.

Gameplay

-Ranged character who can melee for mp to use her mp200-300 skills.

-"X" attack (arrows) will become appealing to buffed monsters since her "Z" attack (kicks) are relatively weaker and slower.

-Has the fastest "X" attack out of all the character and possibly the slowest "Z"

-Character that mainly fights using normal attack and low mp skills, due to 'seige mode' being her best skill, she does not need to rely on 200-300mp skills to take bosses out quickly.
