Magic Knight's lack of control
So I put the tidbit that the old job quest stated he used the gauntlets to control his fire magic, However I am not 100% sure of it. I am 100% that he used some kind of item to control his magic, but I'm not sure if it was specifically the gauntlets. It might have been a necklace but his portrait doesn't show any necklace...Also his 2nd path sister also used gauntlets to control her magic so if anyone could find the text of old, that would be nice...it was either in the old quest or in his old background story

During his travels, Elsword found out that he was very vulnerable to magical type attacks. He decides to go to Echo for help, who told him the only way to cover up this weakness was to become a Magic Knight. Elsword decides to become one in order to cover up this weakness. He absorbed some magical powers through a ritual, and became a Magic Knight.
Not many people are capable of becoming a magic knight, as they need inherent understanding of magic and great sword technique.
Being able to use magic attacks now allows Elsword to become a more balanced character, specializing in both Melee and Ranged attacks.
Then perhaps its in one of the original or first revamp of the job quest description? If I recall its only recently that we began adding the descriptions in job change quests and things such as Crimson Avenger speaking to the specter/dark shadow that's within her lose animation have been entirely lost to the wiki. Of course this is just memories from over 5 years ago but I could've sworn I read somewhere in-game about MK's backstory. But I will admit that the quest details back then didn't really have much on there except generic unimportant lines other than the VERY occasional, often overlooked background information.

1 - Luichel has introduced you to the Magic Knights that use both swords and magic, informing you that Echo can help adventurers learn magic. Let's pass her test, and then go to Echo. Performing this quest prevents you from accepting the Sword Knight quest.
2 - According to Echo, you must undergo a certain process to improve your constitution before becoming Magic Knight. Let's collect the materials for this process.
3 - You have improved your constitution with help from Echo and her crystal. Let's pass Lenphad's test, and then go to him for the next step to become a Magic Knight.
4 - The last mission to become a Magic Knight is to obtain Velder Kingdom's Exequatur, but the kingdom's civil services are currently unavailable. The only way to obtain an exequatur for now is confiscate one from Sir Wally's guardians.
Huh...I suppose thats it. For once I must've misremembered something about Elsword. Or maybe I'm just getting old
