Skill Cancel Cooldown

So one time I tried to use this skill and I got skill canceled (When an enemy attacks you and your skill is wasted because of it) but oddly enough there was no cooldown. It still used my DP, though.

I don't know if it's specific to Awakening or if it works outside of awakening too but I think someone should investigate this.
