Hm. Viable theory. After all, he does use Ignis's arm, which has a nuclear core. So I guess that's plausible since the core would have to go straight to the center of his arm, which would obviously send SOME radiation up through his blood stream. Then activating the power switch to allow full access to the flames would obviously speed up the radiation process during the activation. Though since there's no solid evidence, I think it should say something along the lines of "Based off the comic, it can be assumed that the color change of a portion of his hair stems from nuclear radiation Ignis's core that was implanted in his arm." I'm gonna change that and if you feel it should stay as is or should be worded differently, feel free to change it.
