Skill Note
Name: Bow String Maintenance(NA) / Special Treatment of the String(KR)
Description: "Arrows shot during Siege Mode will have the cooldown decreased by 10%."
- By this it means that the delay after you fire a shot is reduced by 10%, allowing you to shoot faster.
- This is seperate from Siege Mode's cooldown time and has no relation to that.
Tips and Details
- Skill description values appear to be incorrect across all versions.
- The real base damage values were found to be 237% for Siege Z and 133% for Siege X after some research and testing.
- Elemental enchantments on weapons will activate at a much lower rate from siege arrows. (roughly 1/3 of normal)
- Siege will consume 2 MP per second when left active without firing.
- Siege will not passively consume MP when entered through Sniping Ranger's XXXX combo.
- X attack damage is not affected by any passive skill with exception of Siege Swift.
- It will however benefit from Vibration Shot.
- If a target is in range, X attacks will be aimed toward them when fired.
- Arrows will also aim at targets that are in range and below you by 1 platform.
- If you get hit during siege stance, no cooldown will occur.
- Pressing Siege the first time does not give it a cooldown, you can actually press it again before its cooldown starts
- Highest number of possible attacks before cooldown occurs is 9. This is done by doing 4 attacks (Z and\or X) then pressing the Siege key again for 5 extra attacks
- This has a damage output of 4266% for 189 mp (5546% for 135 mp with the passive) with Z attacks and 5985% for 252 mp (7780% for 180 mp with the passive) with X attacks.
- Highest damage output would be 7,780% using Siege X with Siege Swift passive. (180 MP Cost)
- However Wind Sneakers can achieve similar damage for much less MP with Siege Z, damage output would be 6,655% for Wind Sneakers using Siege Z with Power Shooting and Siege Swift passives. (135 MP Cost)
- This has a damage output of 4266% for 189 mp (5546% for 135 mp with the passive) with Z attacks and 5985% for 252 mp (7780% for 180 mp with the passive) with X attacks.
- Post KR Dec.13 2012 patch:
- Both Z and X shots naturally pierce once allowing them to hit two targets.
- All passives now apply to Siege X damage, not just Siege Swift.
- Entering and staying in Siege stance from one of Sniping Ranger's combos now consumes 2 MP per second as per normal activation.
- Post KR Jan.17 2013 patch:
- Knockback force from Siege Z reduced.
