I can't see the band on her in-game model, and in the path video, it only turns red after she wakes up from her nightmare on The Kleruk, the same place where she advances to Cynical Sneer. This makes me think that the band changing colors isn't just because of her use of demonic magic (especially since Mighty Miner was also stated to use demonic magic in the main story), but also the shift in her own mentality.
