Once the El Search Party managed to return to [[Elrianode]], the El Masters and Priestesses were quick to aid them and tend to their wounds. The El Search Party were eager to return back to the Demon Realm as soon as possible but Ventus notified them that the seal below the El had been permanently shut. Vexed for options, [[Elesis]] suggests they ask [[Rosso]] for knowledge, though Ventus was quick to discourage that idea but wasn't willing to at least let them try, telling them where the Fire Master was. He also informs the group that [[Gaia]] was planning to reach out to [[Calonne]] just before they arrived when [[Laby]] made mention of Calonne and the portal. Suddenly, [[Rena]] collapses and Ventus takes her to see [[Darkmoon]]. [[Rose]] and Zero begin to speculate on their own methods of communicating with the Demon Realm through El wavelengths and requires Ventus's help for her plans which he agrees to. | |||
Ventus takes Rose the an Elriabrunnr and Zero deduces that they may be able to produce the proper wavelengths if they spar with one another. They two do battle and Zero manages to get some response though it was just incomprehensible radio noise. The two duke it out once more with Ventus using even more of his strength, though the results were the same. After another round there were some detectable differences but it was still indecipherable. Ventus and Zero begin to worry about Rose pushing herself as well as the feasibility of their efforts, noting that they also lost communication with Empyrean. In a final attempt, Ventus and [[Lincy]] merged with one another to use their full power, this time they begun to receive some type of message which they managed to make out a message, "his is Au--ra. We've found the soul. Return immediately, Rigomor is safe. Do not reply. They may be monitoring us.". Speculating what the message means, Ventus wishes it will be of use to them. | |||
The Master returned to Elrianode to check up on Rena, catching her by surprise. [[Lincy]] begins to express worry if Rena experienced something in the Demon Realm, expressing that Elves are especially vulnerable to demonic energy. Ventus vouches for him companion, noting that it does not take long for elves to get corrupted. Rena is adamant to return to the Demon Realm, Ventus strikes a deal to wager her decision on a 1 hour spar against him. Rena agrees and they sneak out of Elrianode to an Elriabrunnr. Rena agrees to not go the Demon Realm if she loses and Ventus wagers a secret. Due to the Elriabrunnr, Rena started to feel rejuvenated as they fought, Ventus was intrigued by her enthusiasm to save the world, even more than himself. Rena tells him about her experiences and how her journey has opened her horizons a lot. Lincy tries to dissuade her her again but Rena recalls her friend Lincy and how she is living a life her friend [[Lua]] would be proud of. Ventus noting a bit of survivor's guild within Rena. Filled with new conviction, Rena sparred with the Wind Master, their fight persuaded Lincy and filled her with confidence in Rena. Upholding his end of the bargain, Ventus and Lincy tell the secret they had been holding, that they had sensed a normal Elf within the demon realm, and they wished for Rena to investigate it for them when she returned. Rena was intirgued but also realized she had been played and the outcome would've been the same regardless if she had won or lost. They return to Elrianode but forgot to sneak back in and were caught by [[Gloria]] and scolded by [[Anduran]]. | |||
