Stop spreading misinformation and speculation

Stop spreading misinformation among the characters. I've had enough of undoing your edits for each of the characters by making far-fetched speculations and even love-interests when you hardly provide any proof apart from the most trivial words from Eltype. This is a wiki, not a speculation site where we make up theories of what character likes what. You even insult other characters like Elsword calling him rude or Aisha "immature". No matter how many times I tell you to stop, you never seem to listen. Like I said, you base everything entirely on Eltype even going to the most smallest words like your trying to make up trivia. Stop this right now.

Humph. So be it... Darkboy132 05:29, 9 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

Think your edits through

I agree with Cheese when he says you need to stop adding useless, highly opinionated and factually incorrect information. Please think your edits through before adding them, because ever since you have become active on the wiki, more and more volunteer time has been devoted to correcting everything you put on. This is especially unfair to Cheese, since he's the one who has to constantly proof-read your edits and in the vast majority of cases, revert them.

You already have a very bad reputation from Grand Chase for ruining their wiki with your highly opinionated posts and useless changes. I request that you do not sully our wiki in the same fashion.

If this keeps up, I will speak to the admin about banning you again, as it is very unfair to everyone else that you continue to keep these actions up when being warned repeatedly. It's not unfair that everyone has to tail you and pick up all of the garbage that you throw around.

I don't even know if I can do anything right. My brain doesn't think well because of everything that's happened. We're all stressed out, too. I don't know who to blame.
But, lemme ask you this: why should I listen to Cheese? He's been doing things that had offended me lately, so all my trust in him is lost.
I should be sorry, and I try to be, but I know you won't forgive me.

"why should I listen to Cheese? He's been doing things that had offended me lately, so all my trust in him is lost."

Doing things that offend you? Please explain why. I constantly have to check the wiki whenever you make another edit and like Conspire had said, proofread and usually revert them. I also find it ironic that your the one saying that I offend you when your edits to most of the pages I have made offend me. For example, you correct the dungeon pages that I have worked at over a month on, that's nice, but you then make rude notes acting like I don't know anything.

Here are some of your quotes.

("Do you consider "Big Brother" mini bosses? NO.")
("There are no freakin totems in 3-4!")
("... DO YOU SEE PHORUS IN THE TREE OF EL? NOOOOOOOO....")

"We're all stressed out, too. I don't know who to blame."

And yet, who was the one who had caused all this "stress" in the first place?

"I should be sorry, and I try to be, but I know you won't forgive me."

You're not acting like that considering that you persist on making useless edits.

If you're going to make statements like that, then go look at yourself before you do. I try to be nice at first but it seems like you haven't done anything to change. Despite that I tried to talk to you, you still haven't changed. Therefore I blocked you, and yet again, you haven't learned from it.

Dude, lets not continue arguments. Pointing them out only makes them worse.
Please. Just stop arguing. Darkboy132 05:10, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

A message from Sukai ;)

Hello Darkboy132,

Well, I'm sure you don't know me very well or my job here in the wiki. I overlook all the edits and approve them. Lately, I've been seeing and hearing alot about your edits. It's great that you're helping out with out wiki however, when you put info on the wiki make sure it's something everyone can agree on and not 100% personal. So basically, please try to info if you know its 100% correct, not 99.9%, 100%. If you're not sure about adding info, then do try to talk with the other users.

Also please do listen to warnings just because they don't come from me, doesn't mean they aren't approve by me. Listen to other users, if more then one is disagreeing then there is something wrong. Sadly, after discussing with other admins this will be your last warning and if you once again post false info, I have no choice but to place a permanent ban ;(

Cheers! -Sukai

So basically, you'd consider me a "Double-Edged Sword", huh? Darkboy132 05:10, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

Well, if you want an answer by your current actions then, yes. I know you come from the NA server however, our wiki is largely basic on the Korean server and we don't really want to mixed the information from different servers, and that is because there are players who are from the KR server who also use the wiki. We like for our wiki to remain base on the Korean server. I'm also sure that people who come here from NA know that the info is from the Korean server and will be different from their version.

Also, I don't think you took my last comment as a warning and I WILL REPEAT for the last time. LISTEN to other users on the wiki and if you CANNOT WORK with them then, I have no choice to permanently ban you from editing the wiki. Do not work with the wiki as if it is a solo job, make sure everyone agrees with information you add or edit.

Once again this will be my last and final warning to you, understand? :)

-Sukai

I believe some users (such as Pandamaare) stated they would prefer the Wikipedia as a "universal" wiki. In my opinion, keeping it mostly Korean doesn't seem fair for the other few servers.
My mistake during my previous "strikes" was being a little too soloish, am I right? I believe you want me to discuss about it in the Talk pages before inputting the data?
Darkboy132 19:16, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

Not again.

It seems like the moment the wiki was re-opened, you decided to make a number of changes to various articles again. Proof-reading some of them, I can definitely vouch that once again, you seem to have not learned from your previous lessons. I don't have expertise in every character; yet, for the characters I do have expertise in, you clearly have posted more useless, contradictory and erroneous information, and I highly suspect that this is also the case for the ones I can't comment on.

I'm not going to be reverting every single article you've done. I'm interested in contributing to the wiki, not correcting all of the errors that one person makes. I honestly don't know how Cheese manages to do it for every single article that you edit. Someone else can pick up your trash, I'm just going to ignore it from now on; I apologize to the rest of the contributors for leaving highly biased and incorrect information on the wiki when I see it, but I think my reasons are quite clear.

I would strive to show Cheese a little more respect. While you are certainly permitted to make edits to other users' contributions on this wiki, there's absolutely no point in making it personal and insulting his changes and intelligence at every chance that you can get. Let's make this clear - you can disagree with his edits, and he can disagree with yours. However, the deciding factor behind whose edit takes precedence is fact. Cheese is able to read and interpret Korean, tests skills and verifies formulas properly and has a very great deal of experience playing the game as well as familiarity in multiple versions of the game. You are a new-comer who seems to pull things completely out of your ass through one-time observation. While I'm not saying that your perspective is completely flawed, what I'm saying is that you need to double-check and verify your facts before you plaster them over the pages understanding that you come from a shakier background. Even the more experienced people do this as part of their routine - when I had a disagreement with Shiza about whether Mana Intake pushed mobs exclusively in NA, I tested it in practice mode on KR, looked at various videos of various versions of Mana Intake, and compared it to NA Elsword's Mana Intake video, and I explained my reasons for reverting his change thoroughly in my notes. That's the way you settle disagreements in a wiki, not through "OH CHEESE IS NOT A GOOD PERSON CUZ HE SEEMS TO BE DISRESPECTING ME OKAY THEREFORE MY OPINION >>>> HIS."

In all honesty, I'm absolutely frustrated with your insane troll logic at times, and I can definitely sympathize with how Cheese feels when he's trying to bring up points with you. You take EVERY comment personally, even those that aren't aimed at you, yet you're constantly hypocritical in the way that you constantly launch very clearly defined personal attacks on people. Whenever anyone has specific feedback on you, you perceive as blame and try to spread this blame to anyone else. I'm not even sure Sukai's very friendly-worded message got through to you (I personally would not have been so civil), because it seems like you've decided to interpret the message as some sort of a compliment. You make absolutely no changes in your behaviour after having multiple people bring it up time after time after time again; all you do is try to dodge around feedback by accusing people of arguing and trying to offend you, and then falsely putting yourself above them by acting all morally right for not wanting to "pursue an argument". Communication is absolutely impossible with you, and you honestly fill me to the brim with pity if this is way you're like in real life. I, for one, am not going to be trying to get through your thick skull anymore, as you don't seem to understand even the most basic principles of human communication.

--Conspire 07:14, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

That's a pretty cold comment.
For the data inputted, most of them came from who had their own experiences in KR, either written out on the NA forums or said to me directly. I merely put them into the Wiki. Tell me, what seems "useless, contradictory and erroneous"?
I'm not in the mood to argue...
By the way... Are you people sure the use of Talk pages will even work? One of my questions was simply ignored.
Darkboy132 07:44, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

I'm not saying this because I'm trying to spite you, but because from my observation, it is clearly true. Thank you for once again proving my point with your comments. "Arguing" and "giving feedback" are completely different and separate notions; I'm being intentionally stern with you as you have repeatedly ignored nicer comments from only only me, but many other members of this community.

Also, second-hand information is really not reliable, especially if it's been posted in the NA forums by an unknown and unreputable source. One of the things that NA Elsword forumers claim is that getting over 20% stats in any of the capped stats will make you faster/more accurate/give you more dodges, which is completely untrue, for example; in other words, it has a tendency to be notoriously biased and uninformed, based upon conjecture and rumor. This remains true of any second-hand source. Anyone can claim to have "experience in KR", and this should be absolutely no grounds to judge whether a person is reliable or not - there are plenty of people who play KR without much experience or expertise in the game. Whether or not information is given to you personally by a source makes absolutely no difference either. Verify with primary sources only or you have no grounds to make a change. We revert your changes because we can personally test whether your claim is true or not, and because we have personally tested whether it's true or not; you can't do that with second-hand information.

Finally, I personally ignored your question because it was clearly frivolous, irrelevant and trifling. Your reputation does not cede you well either, and that only contributed to me not bothering to answer your question. I can only speculate that others did the same for similar reasons.

--Conspire 07:58, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

So, you're saying I was deceived into believing false information? Well that sucks... for me. So, if my mind is tied to one piece of such information, I have to ask it first, am I correct?
Darkboy132 08:08, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

Wow. Thanks for trying to bring cognitive philosophy into a concept that everyone else seems to find exceedingly simple. I absolutely give up and reiterate the point that you lack any basic communication skills, and that I give up in trying to get even the most basic and intuitive concepts across to you.

--Conspire 08:12, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

"Simple"? The phrases and words that you use are way too advanced for my head to get around. I never even learned nor heard of such words (or perhaps I simply "excluded" them out of my brain).
If you're going to "give up" on me, then do what you must. It's your choice whether to help me or not. I know I should be grateful for what you've done, but it's not easy for me to express that.
Darkboy132 08:26, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

Please stop making so many edits

I'm going to request that you stop making so many edits on the wiki from here on, or at least limit yourself daily; honestly, the entire "Recent Changes" is clogged up with your edits. Typically, that would be a GOOD thing, but in your case, the rest of us have to overlook every single one of your edits to check to see if you've actually done it properly, which in most cases, you have not. You might have four hours a day to spare on useless edits, but the rest of us don't want to waste four hours a day tailing you and reverting every single one of your edits, something that is becoming increasingly frustrating.

One area of particular concern for me is the sheer number of skill edits that you make. Let me just say this - I've been playing Elsword for 2-3 years now, and I can still only really make edits on Aisha and Eve character pages because those are the only characters I've got enough expertise to make helpful changes on; every other character already has their basic information outlined completely, and basic information is all I can provide for their respective backgrounds. I don't touch those pages; I leave them up to people who main those characters and have expertise in them to change them.

Now, you're making changes to every single character's skill information based upon useless conjecture that you've heard as gossip from here and there. I can tell you right off the bat that the tips, details and edits you are making to the Aisha and Eve skill pages are 99% of the time, completely false and wrong. This comes from multiple years of experience of playing these characters, and from having experience in every single possible situation with those skills.

Even so, I still can't correct the changes that you make to the other character's skills despite suspecting them to be obviously wrong, since I don't have the expertise to comment.

That being said, you can clearly see how much damage you're doing. You're pretending to be a complete expert out of conjecture you've heard from here and there, and you're making changes that take a drastically long time to correct, because the REST of us don't try to pretend to be something that we're not, and the rest of us recognize our strengths and limitations and wait for people who actually know to correct things. Which makes it even tougher on us since whenever you make an edit to a skill page, the best any of us can do is in terms of proofing your work is only a fraction of the changes you've made; we have to wait for people with more expertise to comment on whether your change is correct or not, and in most cases, it is not.

In other words, you're forcing multiple people to correct the insane number of wrong changes you've made. You're forcing a crazy amount of manpower and time to be devoted to correcting your mistakes.

This is completely unfair. If you do not stop making changes you don't have any expertise or background on, I'm just going to start reverting everything you change without even looking at it, just because of how much trouble you're causing.

--Conspire 21:19, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

If you want me to limit myself, then I have no choice but to accept that. Alternatively, one of the admins could just "handcuff" me to prevent editing, but they probably wouldn't like that doing it daily.
Darkboy132 21:26, 18 July 2011 (BST)Reply[reply]

Watch as he will continue to edit the same way as before this page was even created, even despite the double last warnings from Sukai. Conspire, don't bother yourself too much with the reverting back on everything he does. I'll be watching out for his edits most of the time.

Thanks for the extra eye out on these incidents - they're definitely needed with the current situation as it is. It's annoying how he seems to think that we're making all of these changes for absolutely no reason other than wanting to pick a fight with him or hating him, though.
