Code: Thunderbolt

From Elwiki

[Hyper Active] Eve creates a Dimension Link and summons her third Nasod assistant, named 'Ferdinand'. He descends from the link, crashing into the ground and damaging nearby opponents and then proceeds to attack, behaving similarly to an NPC summon. If he takes too much damage and his HP reaches 0, he will deactivate. Pressing the skill key again while he is active (or when his duration expires) will make him use his strongest attack, after which he will bow to Eve and disappear.

Tips and Details

  • Like any NPC Summon, Ferdinand will automatically teleport to Eve if too far and will attack automatically when a target is in range. Attacks include:
    • Horizontal Slash: attacks with a wide slash.
    • Vertical Slash: attacks with an overhead slash.
    • Disk Shot: fires a shot of energy that travels a short distance before a large explosion.
  • All targets will focus attacking on Ferdinand instead of Eve. When receiving damage, Ferdinand will not stagger.
  • When the duration expires or his HP drops to 0, Ferdinand will automatically do his strongest attack. Same applies for Master Mind's Apocalypse.
  • Nasod Recharge will not reactivate Code: Thunderbolt.
  • Queen's Pride does not affect Ferdinand.
  • Ferdinand's attacks will use the caster's attack stat prior to being summoned. (Needs Testing).
    • He will maintain buffs Eve receives, even though they expire. (Awakening damage boost, Aura buffs, etc.)

Trivia

  • Ferdinand's stance, way of attacking, and his weapon bear a resemblance to the Persona "Izanagi[1]" from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4.
