Name: Shadow Spear Technique (비전 그림자 창술)
Description: Shadow Knot activation has MP consumption decreased by 100 and consumes 3 spirit orbs. Will not gain spirit orb on activation.
Tips and Details
- The number of hits that can be done by the whirlwind is dependent on whether the targets can be pushed or how big that target is.
- Most enemies can be fully hit by the ability if you use it right after a >>ZX
- The whirlwind can be stopped at a wall. Using this skill when a wall is in front of you is advisable for maximum damage.
- When target is hit by the whirlwind, the target will be shrouded in darkness, making it unable to move.
- The same applies to Shadow Rising.
- Unlike Shadow Rising, this skill also applies a short speed debuff afterwards.
- The same applies to Shadow Rising.
- If a target is caught in the whirlwind from below(like when they are in mid-air), they will not be moved by the whirlwind's push/pull.
- The range of the final hit is extremely large; the attack itself is significantly larger than the animation, and will even hit enemies on slightly higher/lower platforms, even enemies who are behind her.
- This skill is the second to have a long time freeze (First being Gungnir).
- This time freeze does not include the final slash.
- Last time freeze of this skill itself is about 2.05 seconds.
Trivia
- In NA, this move has been renamed to Shadoweave.
- Like Pulling Pierce, this skill is currently bugged; on some occasions the pulling effect of the skill will not end normally. Enemies trapped in this effect will be pulled towards Ara for a few seconds.
- This bug however can useful to canceling some move (Including wake-up knockdown animation) that have super armor frames if mob is near a wall.
- There is also a glitch where the whirlwind doesn't appear at all if casted too close to the end of certain maps.
Updates
- 3/28/2013 KR
- Range of spear thrown is reduced. However, the size the of whirlwind is greatly increased, making it easier to land hits without missing the final slash.
