Speciality

The Sniping Ranger's specialty is the long bow. Her aim, even from a great distance always rings true. Her super human speed and a little magic thrown in for good measure gives her the ability to fill the sky with arrows, skewering anything caught in the flurry. While great in a party, she can handle most situations all by herself.

Background

As an archer, one must always be careful when shooting their arrows. During her travels, Rena decided to improve her archer skills, so she asked Lenphad to make her a new bow so that she can be able to use new attacks. Training her speed and accuracy gave her the title, Sniping Ranger.

First Class Advancement

Rena is required to be Lv15 to begin her first class advancement.

NA

1. Defeat Willam Phoru (Boss) 2 times at 2-4 on any difficulty.
   
2. • Collect 10 Bat Wings from the Bats in Banthus Cave on any difficulty.
     
   • Collect 10 Micky's Tail from the Mickys in 2-3 on any difficulty.
     
3. Speak to Hoffman , the mayor of Elder.
   
4. Eliminate 15 Wisps in 2-1 on any difficulty.
   

KR

1. Complete 2-4 in any difficulty.
2. Eliminate 7 Mickeys in 2-3 on Very Hard.
3. Speak to Hoffman in Elder.
4. Complete 2-4 on Hard.

After completing the Ranger quest chain, Rena can decide between advancing as Sniping Ranger, Combat Ranger, or Trapping Ranger.

Sniping Ranger

Sniping Ranger can also be obtained by using the Cash Shop item: Sniping Ranger's Spirit

1. Talk to Lenphad in Elder.
   
2. Collect 2 High Quality Lubricants from the Crossbow Soldiers in 2-5 on any difficulty.
   
3. Eliminate 6 Poison Mushus at 2-1 on Normal or above (☆).
   
4. • Clear 2-5 on Very Hard (☆☆☆) with at least a B rank.
     
   • Clear 2-4 on Very Hard (☆☆☆) with at least a B rank.
     
     • In NA Elsword, clearing 2-4 and 2-5 on Normal or Hard with a B rank or above will also clear the quest requirements.

At Lv35, a Sniping Ranger can advance into a Grand Archer.

Additional Combos

File:Sr2.png	Arrow Dash An upgraded combo, Rena dashes behind the enemy and shoots three arrows, the third one knocking down.
File:Sr33.png	Arrow Combo A new combo added in the 3/29 Update in KR, Rena gains an upgraded arrow combo that does not knock down, Rena also goes into Siege Mode at the end of the combo. (Sniping Ranger's old >>^XXX combo was given to her Base Job)
