Sword Taker

Specialty

Raven uses his sword with incredible speed, even faster than Elsword's or any other character in the game. Not only is Raven quick, but he has a high base damage as well. Wielding his sword to do near-impossible flurries of slashes and hits, Sword Takers should always be watched, as you might get hit behind the back before you can even realize it.

Background

By resisting from being overpowered by his Nasod Arm, Raven reverts to his old swordsmanship from when he was a soldier for the Belder Kingdom. Relying mainly on his sword, Raven utilizes fast movements with quick sword skills.

First Class Advancement

Raven is required to be Lv15 to begin his first class advancement.

Taker

  1. Kill 18 some pokey pokey monsters on Map 4 on any difficulty.
  2. Talk to the Alchemist in town 2.
  3. Collect a Secret Mail drop from the brown brothers in Map 2.
  4. Clear Map 1 in Very Hard (☆☆☆) in 7 minutes or lower.

After completing the Taker quest chain, Raven can decide between advancing as Sword Taker or Over Taker.

Sword Taker

  1. Talk to the Weapon seller in town 2
  2. Collect 10 emblems from the Little Brothers (one that use knife) on Map 3 in any difficulty
  3. Collect 1 blade from the mini-boss or boss on Map 4 in Very Hard (☆☆☆).
  4. Collect 1 drop from the Wally Guardians (one that use big sword) in Map 5 on any difficulty.

At Lv35, a Sword Taker can advance into a Blade Master.

Sword Taker can also be obtained by using the Cash Shop item: Sword Taker's Tablet

Combos

Image Description
Normal Launch Combo

Does a regular ZZZ combo, but finishes with an uppercut that launches
yourself and the target in the air. During this time, you can still hit the
monster by using the ►►Z combo. This will hit the monster and it will not
be knocked down whereas just using this combo would.

Dash Launch Combo

This is another launch combo, but you activate it by doing a dash ( ►►)
and then using the ZZZ combo. This is similar to the Launch Combo, except
that you do not launch yourself. You can hit the monster by using ►►▲Z,
which is very similar to the first Launch Combo.

Finisher

Also known as the 'Z spam' skill. After pressing XXZ, you have to repeatedly
mash the Z button to do several fast hits. If you don't hit it fast enough
or stop, the combo will stop short and will be ineffective. While spamming Z,
it cannot be interrupted with another skill, no matter what you use until the
combo ends. It will always end with a Knockdown, therefore you should only use
it as a finisher, hence the name.
Though with proper timing you can cancel the last hit with a skill, active, or buff.
