The branches have decent forward reach and cast very quickly, hitting a platform above you and being capable of hitting enemies in the background (when facing right) or foreground (when facing left).
The Poison hits give you ample time to approach any hit targets for further attacks, making it an excellent option for approaching opponents in PvP.
