Tips and Details

You are able to activate the Genetic Modification at any time, even when hitstunned or knocked down.
After advancing to Overmind and obtaining the Master Skill Genetic Recombination (Stage 4), it will be easier to maintain the Genetic ModificationGenetic Modification buff as DP will not be consumed while the buff is active.
