- The buff this skill gives has a shorter duration than the cooldown, so it can't be kept up all the time, even if you reduce the skill's cooldown. That's the point. Ritsu (talk) 18:57, 15 November 2021 (CET)
- So I did some math, and it seems like it's believed that the lowest you can get the cooldown is just slightly over 19 seconds (since it takes a couple seconds to cast, and the buff is applied once you can move). But isn't El Affected Paradigm a thing? Even with just the initial 10% it gives, it's possible to reach the Master Skill Cooldown cap of 35% by combining it with an Artifact's Hidden Power and a 5% or higher Artifact Necklace. 65% of 49 is 31.85, and half of that is 15.925. Granted, you still need a Nyx Pieta to get it that low, which isn't really reliable. FlareKyn (talk) 19:25, 15 November 2021 (CET)
- You won't halve it like that. Benediction's duration is 5 seconds while cooldown is 8.85 seconds at most (his buff included).
- I used 18 seconds as buff duration, since the cooldown went from 39 to 36 when Aisha could move on a video. So with maximum CDR (35%), the cooldown ends up being 31.85 seconds. Benediction subtracts 10 seconds from the skill's cooldown after 5 seconds.
- So after 5 seconds: cooldown 31.85-10=21.85, buff duration: 18-5=13 seconds, Benediction's cooldown 18.85-10=8.85 seconds.
- Another Benediction can be used after 8.85 seconds. So when you get to use it, the buff's duration is 13-8.85=4.15 seconds, and the cooldown is 21.85-8.85=13 seconds. After 5 seconds, the cooldown becomes 3 seconds (13-10), but the buff had already expired (4.15-5=-0.85). You cannot use another one until the skill cooldown is done, so it has a downtime of 3.85 seconds. (There was a mistake I guess, it was 2.25 seconds last time I calculated that, but doesn't change the fact that reaching 100% uptime is practically impossible, unless... there's more than one Nyx Pieta in the party, lol).
