Tips and Details

• Gungnir is unlocked through the High Branch Skill Quest (Intermediate Branch Skill Quest in KR).
  • The quest can be obtained at Lv32 (Lv 40 in KR) from Camilla, the PvP NPC.
• Arrows land about 100 range apart, virtually covering the screen. This skill is devastating on large, wide bosses (such as Nasod Inspector, Ancient Bone Dragon, Teach the Tyrant, Uno Hound, Dark Nephilim, Coral Sea Serpent, etc).
  • The arrows can be blocked by nearby platforms.
  • The armor of the Glitter Armor Vanguard will often act as a platform and block out the damage from the spears (but not the tornadoes) reducing the damage inflicted.
• The animation time is incredibly long (approximately five seconds), but in turn, the skill freeze time is also lengthy (approximately 3.72 seconds), preventing the opponent from trying to avoid and/or escape the attack. (A rebalancing patch has reduced the animation time but it still remains very long.)
  • This skill delay generally lasts from the start of the skill until all spears have landed.
  • As it takes 2.5 seconds before the first spear hits typically, this skill is very sensitive to interference from other skill delays.
• One of the strongest skills in the game, topping at 24,456% in awakening at Lvl.5 if all hits connect.
  • Full hits are hard, and likely impossible, to make on any single target other than Coral Sea Serpent.
  • By turning in the opposite direction just before activating Gungnir, it is possible to get additional hits on most enemies as only 3 spears fall in front of Rena and 5 spears fall behind her.
• The 'Awakening' damage of Gungnir already includes the Awakening's 20% damage boost into its damage percentage.
  • This means that its multiplier is really 20% lower than indicated in the skill description.

• Increased Gungnir's damage at Lvl.5 to 21,992% (33,704% in Awakening).

• Skill Tree revamp increase max skill level to 20.
• Values have been changed accordingly to match new Skill levels
