Mana Break

Mana Breaking is a tactic where you force yourself to be knockdown to avoid damage from attacks. This is a commonly used tactic in PvP.


In order to Mana Break, you must have at least 100 MP. If you were to press and hold down or , a green bar to be charged on top of your MP bar, as shown in the image above. This cannot be charged beyond your current amount of MP. When you are attacked when the green bar has been charged beyond the first break line (100MP), you will lose MP equal to the amount that is charged and will be forced to knockdown.


Note: Mana break might not work if enemy attacks are too "fast"(tested/proven in many cases)-(more detailed and accurate testing is required and being done)

List of Skills Immune from Mana Break

Character Class Attack Details
Elsword Knight Kick (NA only) When equipped with the Skill Note, Kick can prevent a target from charging MP.
Fatal Fury When equipped with the Skill Note, targets cannot no longer Mana Break after the second hit.
Lord Knight Double Slash
Impact Smasher Any target hit by this skill will be prevented from charging MP.
Rune Slayer Storm Blade You cannot Mana Break from this skill during its entire duration.
Rena Combat Ranger Violent Attack You cannot Mana Break out of this skill after the initial launch kick.
Chung Iron Paladin Lunatic Fury You cannot Mana Break out of the Cannon Bursts of this skill.
