Sword Knight

Speciality

The Sword Knight is an amped up swordsman. With experience comes expertise. This job has a better combo technique and gains more MP than any other class. His melee attacks are uber powerful, strong enough to destroy armor and leave an enemy defenseless. He can also fight multiple targets at once. 1 on 1, though, he's almost unbeatable.

First Class Advancement

Elsword is required to be Lv15 to begin his first class advancement.

Sword Knight can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: Sword Knight's Medal

Knight

  1. Eliminate 15 of the Bomber Mongs in 2-4 on any difficulty.
  2. Defeat 14 Jangos and Kid Phorus on 2-4 Hard or above (☆☆).
  3. Talk to the Accessory Shop Owner in Elder, Ruichel.
  4. Complete 2-4 on Very Hard (☆☆☆) within 15 minutes.

After completing the Knight quest chain, Elsword can decide between advancing as a Sword Knight or Magic Knight or Sheath Knight.

Sword Knight

  1. Clear Underground Waterway on Hard mode or above (☆☆+) within 10 minutes.
  2. Clear Wally's Castle on Hard mode or above (☆☆+) with at least a B rank.
    • Eliminate 14 Hungry Bats at Banthus Cave on any difficulty.
    • Collect 10 drops from the Poison Bees at Shadow Forest on any difficulty.
    • Defeat the Bat King (Miniboss) 2 times at Banthus Cave on Very Hard mode. (☆☆☆)
  3. Collect 1 drop from one of Wally's Guardians at Wally's Castle on Very Hard mode. (☆☆☆)

At Lv35, a Sword Knight can advance into a Lord Knight.

Pros & Cons

Great at combos, one of the best team players, not that great on bosses.

Pro:

  • Combos are well-suited for beginners
  • You also gain a passive named Vitality which lets you gain more MP
  • You have another passive named Strong Body which gives you an extra 10% HP outside of the 50% max you can get. Meaning you have a 10% extra HP bonus than any other character.
  • Being short, believe it or not, is very good, as some bosses can easily miss their attacks when hitting you.
  • Sword Knight is a great character for PVP for his extra combos
  • Armor Break is a very useful Active to make Elsword's combos more effective

Cons:

  • Barely any ranged skills
  • Has a hard time fighting ranged characters
  • Relies too much on combos
