Since both Altar of Evil and Transcendence's Cancel Skill "skill" is also performed while in Madness state, it too gains the damage increase effect, even though the initial transformation does not. It cannot be used in midair however.
- Note that letting the transformation run out naturally will cause the explosion not to gain the damage increase.
Cooldown reduction from this effect is considered a cooldown change, not an actual cooldown decrease. This means that cooldown reduction values from interactions outside of the passive will use the new cooldown for its multiplicative properties.
- For example, Dark Plasma is a 19 second cooldown and is decreased to 9.5 seconds with Codex Gigas. Cooldown reduction effects would then affect the 9.5 seconds, not the original 19 seconds. Therefore, cooldown reduction effects have severely mitigated effectiveness while transformed.
