Delayed Fire

[Active] Rena marks a target with "Delayed Fire" shot. Once marked, any attacks using Twigs will 'stick' to the target, increasing a stack number on the target. Can be stacked up to 5 times. Once you activate the active again, all stacks on the target will explode, dealing normal trap damage times the amount of stacks.

Delayed Fire can be boosted with the aid of 1 Nature Orb.

While active, Rena's hands will glow, and you cannot recharge MP by standing still.
The following traps are affected by Delayed Fire:


Affected traps set after Delayed Fire is activated will not explode on impact.
The twig shot from activating Delayed Fire can pierce up to two targets, so it has the potential to hit 3 targets total.
Pressing Delayed Fire again will deactivate it and detonate any traps that are affected by it.
Any twigs fired into the ground with >>^X with Delayed Fire activated will stay on the ground, which can be remote detonated by using the Active again.
Furthermore, when active (Glowing hand), any 'Twig' shots from Night Watcher's combo will stack up on any target.

  • The max number of twigs that can be present is 5, whether they are on the ground or on targets.
    • Though the active only allows 5 stacks, there are image files for up to 10 stacks.
  • All players can see who has twigs stacked on them because the target(s) will have the debuff icon, but only you will be able to see the number of stacks.


When more than 1 trap is detonated by Delayed Fire, affected traps will gain additional damage based on the number of traps detonated.

  • The additional damage is the Trap multiplier times a certain Multiplier.
  • The Trap multiplier is different depending on the trap.
  • The Multiplier is the number of affected traps in play (includes twigs as well) minus one.
    • So when one trap is set off, the Multiplier is 0 giving no additional damage.
  • The maximum Multiplier possible is 5. Any additional traps will not increase the Multiplier.
  • The Trap Multiplier increases as the level of delayed fire increases.


Twigs shot after Delayed Fire is activated will do 133% physical damage. Normally Twigs will do 150% physical damage.
Delayed Fire explosions are fast enough to catch a knock-down if activated while the opponent is in mid-air.
Trapping Arrow - Buster un-noted will have trap damage decreased by 5.88% when set off by Delayed Fire,
while Trapping Arrow - Buster noted will have trap damage increased by 10% when set off by Delayed Fire.
Wrathful Seeds will have do 23.45% more damage when set after activating Delayed Fire. This is regardless of the level of Wrathful Seed or Delayed Fire
Detonation by Delayed Fire increases trap explosion hit box.

Trivia

  • On some servers, when using the skill, the white text on the bottom-left may call the skill "Delayed Sticky Arrows".
