Over Taker

Specialty

Unlike his counterpart, the Sword Taker, Over Taker uses brute force and straight-up attacks to make his opponent suffer. He gains more advanced Nasod arm combos, being able to punch and slash through his opponents. And also has more powerful AOE skills and skills with improved range.

Background

With every fight, Raven's Nasod Arm reaches new limits to its powers. He trains his body to the limit to retain his sanity and focuses on pure brute attacks from his Nasod arm. Yet Raven realizes his body has reached the limit, and soon he would lose himself to insanity. The Nasod Arm was amplifying his rage and causing him to lose control. Because of this, he requested the aid of the Ponggo's mechanic and had him attach a "Rage Preventer" to his Nasod arm to help him channel his rage into controlled power. However, Raven knew this could not last forever; and the one day he could potentially lose control of himself. But by overtaking the Nasod Arm's power for the time being, he was dubbed the "Over Taker"

First Class Advancement

After completing the Taker quest chain, Raven can decide between advancing as a Sword Taker, Over Taker or Weapon Taker.
Over Taker can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: Over Taker's Revelation.

NOTE: Nasod Arm Damage is calculated before Burning Nasod Hand.
File:OTCombo1.png Triple Punch

Three slow, but stunning punches. But with each hit, enemies are pushed back, with the third punch dealing heavy knockback. Cancelling after the second punch with a skill also works well.

New animation, changed to multi hit command. [Video]

Raven summons three metal spikes from the ground, launching the opponent into the air.

  • Post KR 5/29 patch:

Spikes can be summoned at anytime in the Triple Punch combo.

Oddly, if spikes are summoned before the Triple Punch combo they will cost 4MP. (After or during Triple Punch spikes will not cost MP)

Number of spikes increased to 3.

While in the air; Ravens dives down, slams the enemy into the ground, then launches them with his claw. Second hit stuns long enough to combo.

Shockwave when landing the second X. Last X summons 5 Nasod spikes. No longer launches. [Video]
