Rising Slash: Difference between revisions

From Elwiki
(I've tested this a ton and no matter where unnoted hits, it's always 5 hits (not counting the blind spot behind elsword), not 6, so the 3-per-blade thing is false. It's only one hitbox anyway.)

* Rising Slash launches mobs straight into the air. Therefore, it is possible to catch them before they reach the ground to continue a combo.
*Despite there being two blades per side, these share a single hitbox, and as such, will always deal 5 hits no matter where you hit an enemy with them.
* Best if used with the skill note and if you have multiple enemies chasing you.
**The extra blades added by the skill note do not share this hitbox, making it possible to land either 4 hits (outer blade only), 8 hits (inner blades only) or 12 hits (both the outer blade and inner blades hit the target).
* This is a great finisher move in PvP due to its long range.
*There is a blind spot right behind Elsword where enemies will take only 2 hits, but it is very unlikely this will ever happen by accident.
* The inner and middle blades share the same hit box, the outer blades from the noted version don't.
*For maximum damage output with the skill note, the target must be between the extra outer blade and the inner two blades. At level 17, landing all 12 hits results in 7044% damage.
** Because of this, it might seem like the noted blades only deal one hit, though they have the exact same amount of hits that the normal blades do, though it is much harder to make them do so.
*Rising Slash launches mobs straight into the air, making it possible to catch them with certain attacks. However, the delay before you can move again is too long to catch certain heavier targets.
* For maximum damage output(assuming a medium-sized enemy that can be knocked down), the target must be between the middle and outer blade.
*This is a great finisher move in PvP due to its long range.

Skill Note Name: Quantitative ImprovementⅠ(양적 향상에 대한 생각Ⅰ)

Level Required: Lv. 35

Description: Adds one blade to both sides of the skill, and increases hit count.

Tips and Details

  • Despite there being two blades per side, these share a single hitbox, and as such, will always deal 5 hits no matter where you hit an enemy with them.
    • The extra blades added by the skill note do not share this hitbox, making it possible to land either 4 hits (outer blade only), 8 hits (inner blades only) or 12 hits (both the outer blade and inner blades hit the target).
  • There is a blind spot right behind Elsword where enemies will take only 2 hits, but it is very unlikely this will ever happen by accident.
  • For maximum damage output with the skill note, the target must be between the extra outer blade and the inner two blades. At level 17, landing all 12 hits results in 7044% damage.
  • Rising Slash launches mobs straight into the air, making it possible to catch them with certain attacks. However, the delay before you can move again is too long to catch certain heavier targets.
